That is more reasonable than if you went and saw Generic Romance Film In Which Someone Probably Dies, but you should have still pulled out the Aliens Are Awesome Clause. The AAA Clause overrides any previous decisions.
Everyone missed it but when I stopped using team Gay for guys AKA team Uptown Girl AKA Team Tupac Lives AKA NOTORIOUS G.A.Y. AKA Fucking the "CABLE" repairman AKA Team I suck dicks literally I then started freaking the fuck out with Gambit and Spidey that wasn't button mashing and I owned

That is what I spent a good portion of Saturday and Sunday harassing people about. Seriously, I cannot even begin to fathom how anybody could not enjoy District 9. Yes, it is a sci-fi movie with some action sequences, but those elements are not the main focus, unlike in Star Trek or Transformers. It is one of only two movies I can undoubtedly say I saw solely for the story (the other being Up).
I liked it because Wikus' sweater vest was just so damn dapper.
I dunno, I liked Christopher Johnson's (awesome name for an alien, by the way) little jacket better.

District 9 was directed by Niall Blomkamp, who directed the Halo short Landfall. District 9 is the project he moved onto after the full-length Halo movie was canned, and takes a lot of its background from the Halo project.

Yeah I just read up on it and apparently it's not related to the Halo movie, it's expanded from an earlier short he did. I've been labouring under delusions! Which is odd, because I've been seeing a load of mixed reviews, and it seems like the people that love it are almost universally Halo fans.

I played CoD4 for the first time this weekend. I guess switching sprint and zoom button layout would have cure a lot of my fumbling with the controls. Is it policy at GameStop to try and get customers to pre-order every game coming out in the next month?

It would be like if the XBLA thread started up a clan and that turned into chat. Would you really want to go in there for the latest XBLA information and get "Man district 9 was awesome!". And now we're never going to have a director that actually gives a shit about Halo making the movie ever again

With that- The cravings return. The rage has subsided and I feel horribly stupid for breaking that disc.
It felt fucking great though.. fucking great tearing that disc up.
