Can't modify XP theme

So I've gone most of my life without reskinning or adding themes to anything, but now I'm really liking the redshift theme I've applied to Firefox. The problem is that the standard XP look really conflicts with the black-heavy visuals of the redshift theme. I was going to go into display settings and modify my theme, but there is no button to do this. I get [save as] and [delete] but no modify.

I consider myself pretty damn tech savvy, but I can't find an option anywhere to modify the look of my desktop (taskbar, window title bars, folder backgrounds, anything). What I'm thinking is that I disabled something at some point when I initially set up this computer (regular setup tools and things like tweakui), but now I have no idea what I've done.

Hopefully I've just missed something simple. Can anyone help?

Your best bet is probably to use the uxtheme.dll hack and open up a whole world of awesome pre-made visual styles. Read the OP in this thread. Should cover everything you need and more. And feel free to ask any questions over there, that thread gets a lot of views.

Thanks so much, looks really great with the Royale Noir theme.
