someone else may know of a site with faster shipping, I'm not sure though.
I know of a site with faster shipping (I ordered buttons through them and got them in 4 business days). However, they sell other sorts of things that we shall not speak of here, so I won't post the link outright. PM me if you're interested though.
Lizardlick isn't that backed up now. I think they're filling orders from July 10th-ish this week. Maybe I'll get my Chthulu board soon enough, although BB is not so bad on the pad.

Man, I got steam rolled tonight by like every lobby. Then proceeded to get my ass handed to me by Ne0russel using Tager. I didn't realize how safe his QCF + A sledge is. He kept doing QCF+A, A pokes into various meaty setups. I went like 2/14

Those were some good matches, Whippy and gang, although to be honest I was pretty pissed when the room was closed in the middle of my match. I know it probably wasn't intentional, but it still aggravated me since A) it looked like I was winning and B)the new room put me way in the bottom, making me wait an extra 15 minutes so I could lose the next match.
I haven't invested much time into this game due to the mountain of games I have to play and review, and clearly it shows. As it stands I'm not nearly good enough to compete online. The bonus DVD helps things, but it doesn't tell you how to fight against certain characters.
Namely, Jin is the bane of my existence. In both Arcade and online, he spams projectiles, has a wide slash that seems to counter EVERYTHING, and has a really cheap throw that STUNS you. I don't know what the best strategy is, because I still don't know what I, as a beginner, need to strengthen. Combos, defense, etc.
Haku-Men is another person who whoops me terribly in Story and Arcade mode, mainly because I don't know how to read his energy bar.
It was pretty funny how I won that one round against him online by throwing a pillow (Tao's one of my faves, like a spastic Cammy).
Yeah, good games. I think that kiunch just forgot that he was hosting.
Also good games to the stig, kiunch, and B__L. B__L, that double emerald buster was epic. Too bad most of you were gone by then. :P
As a beginner, you need to firstly learn some BnBs. Learn them until you can do them them through muscle memory. Then learn what your character can do in different situations like if the opponent is approuching you through ground or air, and respond appropriately. Learn what your character need to do against different characters. Then getting more match experience I guess.
You'll get there though. :^:
And as far as I know story and arcade mode haku is boss version, so he's tougher.
You don't actually have to 100% the story modes to get the True Ending, just get a regular clear.
Wait, what? I heard otherwise.
Then what does getting 100% on each story net?
Nets you nothing I believe, other than accomplishment. Although, are the boobie lady episodes involved with this? That's why I am not going back to story to try to figure out which opponent I didn't lose to or some crap. Get to the true story ending beat that and you are good.
Damnit hippy! My friends were over and they didn't tell me I got a freakin message from you!
'Tis cool. There's always next time.
I think my connection is better than last time too.
I also have a way to record video now, I think. Still need to test it out. Crappy handheld camera video, but still, cool.
Also, playing with arakune quite a bit now. j. B is an amazing move.
His basketball combo is too fun to do.
Got a question though. Do the bug's trajectory change with different directional inputs? Like if I just do a 5C or 6C, does the C bug come out with different trajectories?
Well first of all his bugs come out on negative edge. So if your holding away and release C then a bug will come from behind them on a shallower angle than usual. If you hold toward them it comes out at a steeper angle. A bug is the exact oposite. Forget about B sorry. Not sure if the big D bee hive is affected by input or not.
I just finished the true ending. Best. Achievement. Ever.
Yes, yes it is. It was so appropriately titled that when I saw it I honestly laughed out loud.
PS: Anyone wish to blaze the blue?

I don't know what the best strategy is, because I still don't know what I, as a beginner, need to strengthen. Combos, defense, etc.
1. When Jin spams projectiles, just play him like you would a Ryu who spams in SF, bait and jump in. It's actually a lot easier to do on Blazblue since you have an airdash and his fireball is a lot slower than most in SF.
2. I'm guessing you're talking about his D dragon punch(one that knocks you all the way across the screen with the second hit). That is a very high priorty move and it is meant as a way for Jin to punish people rushing him down mostly. So, just don't run straight at Jin on wake up(he can punish you in so many ways), best thing to do is run and stop short...you'll bait a dragon punch this way and you can punish during recovery.
3. Well, most people have throws that lead into combos, Jin's just has way more things he can do while they're frozen. Press Left/Right(alternate) rapid to break out of the ice, and try to be going into a block when you break the ice. The Jin player will either have to do a very quick combo/attack, or try to throw you again. So just be prepared to block and throw break at the same time.

Thanks for the games guys, Ragna isnt THAT bad you just dont know whats coming. As I never do against certain characters. Although early on I was nailing every combo, towards the end I got jumpy.
Carl scares the dick out of me though, half the time I think I just need to throw shit out to hit him. Half the time it does though, Hell Fang can hit him everywhere :O

It's not that, he's got unlimited Blood Kain so he can do the unblockable super which takes off about 60% of your health and nearly fills his even if he's at a sliver, or just spam distortion drive stuff and get all his health back in a few blocks.

When Kaseius and I did double emerald buster, we both just stood there, unabled to be pulled despite being magnetized. You weren't supposed to get the throw off on me.
But still, very epic. And educational. And painful.
Sorry for the complaints about lag last night. When the latency is so bad that I can't defend properly against Noel's rushdown, I get snippy, especially when he's bragging that he beats 90% of Tagers that way. :x
Especially when it's just a simple ordeal to sledge, 6A, 2C xx Heat, 6C, and 5D or shot for even more damage to beat it out with a guaranteed high damage combo.

Yeah, Stoked and Nick were complaining about Ragna's range. I don't think it was so much that as it was Carl's very...not good...range. Though I was playing with manly HakuMEN(though you did get me quite a few rounds, Kai...that round where you pretty much perfected me was brutal. Your Ragna has gotten a lot better. One thing I noticed though is sometimes you don't watch where your opponent will roll. I know during our last matches I got away from your rushdown by just waiting for you do run right at me then rolling under your legs).
Good games, everyone. Sorry about that last match and my disconnect shortly afterwards. My sister came home and got on Myspace(evil) then my DSL dropped again shortly afterwards. Would get cable to stop that but only people out here who supply it are Comcast and they're pretty much evil themselves.

It unlocks an interview with the respective character's Japanese VA I think.
Any guide on how it changes?
I have to get past my akwardness with him for online though.

uhm, dustloop might have one but off the top of my head
5A bug- comes from behind opponent, middle screen
4A bug- closer to Arakune
6A bug- closer to opponent
5B bug- behind Arakune flies towards opponent, middle of Jins sprite
4B Bug- low on Jin
6B Bug- High on Jin (Jin is my training dummy :P)
5C bug- comes from below behind opponent, 2 Arakune character spaces (I think)
4C bug- about 1 Tager space
6C bug- practically right behind them
5D bug- comes from top, middle of screen
4D bug- closer to Arakune
6D bug- closer to opponent (about 1 Jins character length away before its trajectory goes towards them)

You mean the one where he jumps in and kicks you on the head...yeah, that makes sense.
Yayyyy. Though it will have to wait until later tonight. School soon
You were deliberately told not to quote me on that.
woo, welcome back, even though we never played!
maybe we'll have to play!
That's all he has though
My cthulu board came in today, so I get the pleasure of re-learning to play with a stick in SF4 and learning to play this game with a stick period.
