iTunes Radio

Lately I've taken to listening to the streaming radio stations on iTunes, but given the vast selection its been sort of a daunting hit-or-miss task of checking out some of the stations and then giving them enough time to really get a feel for their playlists and rotation. I've got a pretty varied music taste, and depending on what I'm feeling I like the ability to switch around from station to station--the real trick is making sure the station plays enough music, both in terms of talk-to-music ratio, and simply playing enough different songs in a couple hour period. Here's a couple of different genres that I figure should have a station out there, but finding it in the thousands of options on iTunes has been a tricky call alone: anyone out there know any?
  • A sort of indie-dance channel: think MGMT, Justice, Calvin Harris
  • 1950's R&B/doo wop: The Coasters, Clovers
  • Early 90's alt rock not confined to only a handful of bands (no "all _____" channels)
  • Chiptune maybe?

The list could go on, and could really be anything, just good quality stations who don't play 7 songs all day.
