    Worse, if it's not, they'll just continue to rerelease XX for all time. I wonder how many more suffixes they can think of.

    Blazblue is to Guilty Gear as Bioshock is to System Shock 2.

    It's not just a similar game, it practically is the same game. They just started with a clean set of (suspiciously similiar in some cases) characters and a few tweaks to earlier mechanics.

    Im afraid this IS your next Guilty Gear, and I doubt if the two names are going to run side by side. Doesn't mean Accent Core won't continue to be relevant at all, after all, EVO runs 3 different versions of street fighter during their championship.
