aw..aw..awwwww.. Back to the drudgery of work I go. Well, upside, given the short time they can train beforehand for the event, the omegathon will be at the very least interesting to watch.

    Congratulations to all!

I sent an e-mail to Gabe saying that I am dying of liver cancer and have six months to live, so being an Omeganaut would be a wonderful dream come true before I pass away.

He said, "Better luck next year!"

    :-(

EDIT: Okay, I didn't really e-mail Gabe. Don't have liver cancer, either. Thought that was a funny scenario, though.

    Steal individual bottles? Pishposh.

I'd reroute the Oompa Loompa's shipping destinations to a series of private warehouses, where cases could be dispersed before distribution realized the trucks didn't reach their original targets.

From there we could conduct a series of black box presentations to companies (like Slugworth's, PepsiCo, etc) to sample the beverage, while simultaneously creating a generic recipe of the drink back at the lab to sell to the highest bidder.

The winning company would place patent pending, thus allowing them to pass FDA standards before Wonka, and have exclusive rights to store shelves for years, building a brand to the point where Wonka won't be able to enter the market with their own product.

It's funny because my wife was just saying the other day, "What if you get picked for the Omegathon?" and I told her the odds of that are so slim, I'll probably never be one if I go to PAX for the next 50 years. I got the call at work and I was kinda freaking out a bit and so excited, my coworkers all thought that I had just found out I was going to have a baby, and I was like, "No, I'm going to be an Omeganaught!!!"

Is there a seperate "Omegathon Games List Speculation" thread? I saw someone say Plants vs Zombies and that seemed like a strong possibility. What else do people think there will be? I'm a PC gamer and don't own a Wii, 360 or PS3. I want to at least touch some of these systems before PAX is upon me.
