Is it possible to buy a mini-DVI -> Dual-Link DVI port for a Mac Mini and hook up two separate displays to it?

Wondering if those mac mini chipsets can even support two monitors.

this is a discord of mostly PA people interested in fighting games: https://discord.gg/DZWa97d5rz

    that should work.

the displays would only be able to do clone mode, because, iirc, you're essentially splitting the signal.

I suppose we are talking about the current Mac Mini?

If so I do think the Mini comes with the mini-DVI to two DVI ports meaning two displays. Dual-Link DVI is not two displays but a DVI port which supports higher than 1920x1200 in resolution eg. a 30" monitor.

Also the Mini has a mini-displayport which you can hook up to DVI just don't buy the Apple one because it is way over priced.

In conclusion. You can hook up 2 monitors to the new Mac and they do not have to run in clone mode.
