Just take the train from 30th into Penn Station. Easier.
It took me 4 hours to drive to Atlantic City. Of course, that involved going to South Philly first (I live in the NE) and then there was shore traffic, but still.

From NE Philly? 1.5 hours or so. Still, driving into NYC can be annoying if you're not used to it. The train is a pretty great option.
I'm kinda bummed about totally missing the Ori/Quoth thing. I'll be in NY late tonight but could have totally bugged out early and swung through the city.

Looking on Amtrak's site, the cheapest round trip is $90, and it's an hour and a half both ways, plus it'd take me at least a half hour to get to 30th street station
Seems like driving would be faster and cheaper for me (although, granted, I don't know how much parking is in NYC)

I caught myself worrying about swine flu earlier and then mentally berated myself for being effected by hysteria.
I grew up around all the resevoirs that feed NYC. They say is the best water in a major city, I'm inclined to believe them. Whoever they are exactly.
They allow fishing and boating. Just no motors and no swimming.
edit: Come to think of it, the boating regulations may have changed post 9/11 because security around them was beefed up. I know you can still fish, I believe you can still boat.

I could potentially go tomorrow but I'm supposed to watch my bro since the rest of my family is out of town and I'd feel bad just ditchin him.

I revise my statement, it was this missile, and the project ended up getting canceled. But it was an amazing missile though.
