Yesterday, I almost died. In the almost fourteen years I have been backpacking and climbing mountains with my dad, yesterday was the first time that mortality came into question.

I just woke up, and it is almost five 'o clock.

I just remembered that I called my sister four hours ago to find out she is pregnant (Sorry, Bogey!)

Life's funny as hell, SE++, and I want you to tell me how yours has been, lately.

Like I said, if it wasn't for my dad and his experience, we wouldn't have made it.

I talk about how badass he is all the time, and I have never lost faith in him, no matter how often we butt heads, but yesterday just proved to me how lucky I am and how exceptional a father he is.
