All right, now I know that this should go without saying, but for the benefit of those who haven't seen this kind of puzzle before: Setting power to high while turning everything else off is likely to end poorly for all of us. Don't do that.

I don't actually know if this *is* the kind of situation we have here, but unless we have very good information otherwise, I'd prefer not to chance it.

It's Rapture. It's not about what's safe, it's about each man doing his best.

So, I just have to be an absolute dick to everyone and disparage any attempt at forming a coherent working plot to resolve this game?

    Awesome.

It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it!

    Based on the game,

Searchlights triggered the alarm and summoned splicers (I think)

    Bathyspheres allow travel

Water pumps... no clue. Probably prevents water damage from flooding?

And the reactor power likely determines how many of these we can keep activated at the same time.

Hey all, PMs should be all out, let me know if you have questions, working on the narration now.

Arcadia has the bestest water pumps, no lie.

    Right. The usual clarifications now:
    What is the action order?

    Is there trickle-down?

What happens in the event of a tie?

Order of actions is now in the rules post.

    CLARIFICATION DENIED.

    Day 0
    "Set the charge."

    "Like hell, you do it!"

"WEAK! YOU'RE WEAK! Fine give it here."

    BioshockACCIDENTS.jpg

    BOOOOOOOOOM.

Panic filled Rapture as a large explosion ripped through the central core.

Techs worked quickly to contain the damage but the heart of the Vita-Chamber system had been destroyed.

Secondary damage spread to other systems, water pressure all over Rapture sky rocketed,
stressing the already overworked drainage system.
Techs argued about which places to send power to, some wanted all everything running at full power,
others thought this would lead to a core overload.

    ---

In a damp hall in Medical, a poster slowly slid off the wall. "Who is Atlas?" it asked.

They would all find out soon enough.

Day 1 has started and will end 11pm eastern time Tuesday.

Still haven't managed to get my revenge against Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay yet.

The action order is interesting. If I read it right, no role blocks, no busdrivers. One of those "others" is a Seer at minimum. Not sure yet what else we have out there. Repair/sabotage probably.

I'm sort of going to suggest that the water pumps would be pretty important, but I'm in Neptune's Bounty, and I'm not really convinced that's a crucial location. So I'm putting my vote in for !Leaving Water Pumps Off in Neptune's Bounty, because we're probably on a limited supply of power.

I'm voting Kay for doing entirely too well in Vampire Dominance. It's unnatural.

Last CF game I gave it a lot of thought, considered the statistics involved, and correctly landed my vote on a mafia.

This got me yelled at and nearly day 1'd, because apparently the vote is for collecting data instead of killing mafia, that's what the good specials are for. Perhaps I am somewhat bitter.

Anyways, voting Psolms because he's the one that lead the crusade against me.

The Water Pumps seem like one of the most important things to leave ON. Bathyspheres we can do without until we need them, and searchlights might be useful in detecting suspicious activity so that's up to you guys.

People who know the source better, please speculate: With the Bathyspheres off, will we be able to move from zone to zone?

I agree, at least ONE pump needs to remain on. Maybe two to be safe, but I agree with prior speculation that we may run into power issues doing so. Plus, the narration mentions Core Overload which, once again, I think we can all agree is a not so good thing.

Krata, you just need to know where to push.

Spectrum, your grudge is meaningless, for it is so old! !SpectralSpork, however. Have at thee! I shall prove your lack of manliness through my superior physical strength and blind tenacity! Also, I can use a wrench, and you can't.

As for my current location, well. B:L's suggestion is sound. I think the trick here is to limit the power-use while still maintaining necessary systems, and systems that are useful situationally should be left powered down for the moment.

Therefore, !Bathyspheres: OFF in Fort Frolic.
