Forgotten game title

Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone can put me out of my misery, I'm struggling to remember a title of a game I used to play in the arcades in the mid to late 80's.

It's a fighting game, you are a human character and you go up against individual opponents on a one to one basis, some of your opponents are a gargoyle, a lizard man, a scorpion, a wizard, a dragon, assassins and finally finishing off fighting a giant.

If anyone can help me with this title I would be most appreciate.

Thanks in advance

Not Rastan. I know the game he is talking about. It is a one on one side scroller with buttons for high, mid, and low attacks. The joysitck controlled your shield. I used to play it at the YMCA after swimming lessons as a kid, but I have no idea what the name of it was.

    It's gotta be that.

    It's also called Fighting Fantasy.

He fights a Gargoyle, then a lizardman, then a dragon, then a wizard, then a pair of assassins, and then indeed a Giant.

This is definitely the OP's game.

Wow, the music in that video is FM-MIDI-tastic.

I played a lot of arcade games back in that era, don't think I ever saw this one. Looks kind of neat!

I was wondering if someone could help me out finding out the game of an old Arcade game as well.

The premise of the game was like "Fill-it" you know draw boxes with a ship and fill a percentile of the game area to win.

Except this had flying dragon worms, bombs, missles, lasers, and all sorts of mayhem. I believe it may have even had boss fights to an extent. The game in my town the type where you pull a chair up to a table type machine with the display being the top.

I know they made a version of it for Sega?? as well.

I only watched a few seconds of it, but I couldn't stop laughing at the name of the game and also the fact that one of the characters was the "Amazoness".
