So why not spend it on cheap or expensive materials which you will use/watch/play/etc once then completely forget about it in favor of something similar but BRAND SHINY NEW??

I couldn't find a shopping thread via search, so here you go. If there's something similar, just lock this. This is where you talk about what you just bought/borrowed/stole, whatever. As for me, I got seasons 1-3 of Scrubs, Coraline, 2 Red Hot Chili Peppers CDs, and Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5. What did YOU just get? Cuz people on the internet always care about other people on the Internet's lives and daily activities, otherwise there wouldn't be a Facebook/MySpace/Twitter/LiveJournal/PennyArcade Forums/etc.

    I have been wanting to buy a pair of hockey skates for like months

    but I don't have $400 to spend on skates.

    I was pretty close to buying watchmen on bluray this past weekend

    but I decided to wait for the 5 disc edition thing that comes out at Christmas which has the Black Freighter edited into the main flick and a bunch more features.

    And Monkeyfeet, I'd get an iPod Classic. Zunes suck. Mine broke 2 weeks after I bought it. It couldn't handle my musical tastes.

    I almost did that too pipe.

    Recent purchases for me were The Secret of Monkey Island for the iPhone and I just bought a new food processor as I didn't have one.

    The food processor is pretty cool, is has a scale built directly into it.

    I should make a pie or something I think.
