Purging plugins from Eclipse

I recently installed a beta plugin for Eclipse from Adobe that expired. So I uninstalled it from Windows using Add/Remove Programs.

However, Eclipse still thinks it exists, and I get workspace errors for many common operations including making new files, and it's packages still show up in the plug-in summary for Eclipse.

Is there a way to purge a plugin from Eclipse?

Note that the actual package folders don't even exist in eclipse/plugins/ right now. It seems that a non-updated settings file is holding on to them.
