Hi, this is another Girl thread. My GF lives and works about an hour from me in ideal traffic conditions, but about 3 hours away on a normal weekday with So-Cal rush hour traffic. She'd like to be able to play some games with me online. Does anyone here know any fun coop games that can be played on the PC. She has a...

I've got a Gaming Rig, but I prefer playing on my 3 year old laptop due to the amount of heat my desktop gives off and how quickly it heats up my room. Probably a non-issue though.
She likes platformers like Aladdin on the SNES, Jak & Daxter, and Little Big Planet and says she likes games "where you go from the beginning of the level and try to get to the end", but I guess she'd be willing to try other games. I've got Titan Quest, Diablo II, Trine, and Bionic Commando: Rearmed. TQ Gold is $20 and Bionic Commando is $10. Are there any other good picks out there? Maybe ones that are free? In terms of skill, she enjoys games, but she's not that great at them, and I have trouble getting through BC. Neither of us have current gen consoles. Thanks.

Just...don't try to play it too much, there's a huge grind hidden under the surface.
Another game i can recommend is Free Realms, it's also F2P and offers tons and tons of minigames.
There's a lot of free online games in the link in my sig, just browsing through it together might result in both of you being interested in one of em.
If either of you are running vista, you'll have to run the game in windowed mode whenever you join/create a multiplayer game in BG2 or you'll crash. you'll be fine to maximise again once you're in the game though.
Hah I see you took my advice about bein one of those people who post when bored at work pogs :P
and well it had to happen eventually, if i had work to do i'd be doing it
There are also free ones, I've played both Shadowbane and Anarchy Online (back when they cost money). Try some trials out for other monthly subscription games to see if anything works. My vote is for Guild Wars though.
CoH's costume creator is basically barbie dress up and most girls like to play dress up. This, apparently, is why my wife started playing.
WoW is good too. With it's built in "vent" system, you both just need some headsets and you can talk all you want.
