Shazam. Cakemikz returns. Also does anyone have some good video capture software so I can do video critiques now? Something reliable and the compresses it pretty good.
When I was young I was afraid of the police, because I thought they may catch me doing something bad, when I wasn't even aware I was doing anything wrong.
I think I still have this lingering "oh noes" when I'm around police, from that. Like, "You're wearing white after labor day!? GET ON THE GROUND!!" *pistolwhip'd*
Well...I can model, texture, and light things in Maya...I'm not exactly sure how else to quantify my progress, but, ya know, I've still got a lot to learn, but I'd feel comfortable saying that I've at least got the basics down. I'll be taking a ZBrush class in the fall, and it's going to involve bringing in models from Maya (that we've made, of course) and detailing them, and making normal maps and such. I doubt we'll get into ZSpheres much, if at all. I understand how normal/bump/displacement/specular maps work, but I didn't have time to implement any in my Maya class (they weren't required either, but I would've liked to do that somewhat). I had time to mess around with ZSpheres for a little while when I got a ZBrush trial awhile back - they seemed pretty simple.
I'll be buying Maya and ZBrush this [academic] year, so I can work on more involved projects than what I've had time to get into during school. I'm also buying them so that I can still be up-to-date in the software that will be listed on my resume. :P I can't really say I have a year's worth of experience in the program (when I graduate) if I worked in it for 3 months, a year ago. I'd also like to work on something I'm happy enough with that I can include it in my portfolio.
Crazy, I haven't even touched Zbrush yet and I haven't done any sort of extra mapping beyond the basic diffuse map.

I'm exactly the same, I have an inate fear of authority. I'm all "Crap, I bet someone has stashed a key of heroin up my ass and I don't even know about it....but these cops do.....oh god I'm so fucked!" *sweat sweat sweat*
My codename is Project 2501- industrial espionage and intelligence manipulation. I have installed programs to specific ghosts in order to maximize the strategic advantage of certain organizations and selected individuals.

I drive significantly worse when police or highway patrol are around because I get nervous and start staring at my speedometer and checking every stupid thing to make sure I am not breaking any laws instead of paying attention to driving.
Also someone come entertain me on vent now that Tam is gone.

The audio it compresses from your mic is, well, not compressed, so it takes up a lot of space. You might be able to throw it through virtualdub after and compress the audio track into mp3, but I'm not sure how wmv works and it you can put it through virtualdub at all.

Apparently they'll taze you for walking away from them.

Oh man..this thing actually compresses really well. After testing it appears to be about 1meg/minute (with audio) which is excellent....like 10% of the other pieces of software I was trying..and the video quality is higher as well. But maybe I am missing something and it is recording the audio somewhere else. I don't think so though.

Talking out of turn, that's a tasing. Looking out the window, that's a tasing. Staring at my sandals, that's a tasing. Using the police taser, oh, you better believe that's a tasing.

Police make me so nervous on account of I'm an international diamond thief:
I need to exercise more. My body cannot keep up with my art.
Inconspicuous!
Yeah, I'm in the getting fit mode so I can concentrate at night. I'm not even bothering arting at night because most of the time I'm so stuffed I'd be better off falling asleep on my sketchbook and drooling on it.
I'm not 100% on this, but doesn't black typically absorb light rays anyway? That's why wearing a black shirt in the sun is a bad idea.
right...so for something to be "so black it absorbs light" seems kinda...off?
Also! Doesn't everything absorb light, essentially? White reflects the full spectrum, more or less...but things that are colored (like a red shirt, for instance) absorbs most of the light, save from red.......right? I think that's correct.
correction, his stache is so dense that (somehow leaving him unaffected) its gravitational pull does not let light escape its terrible pull :P much like a blackhole. This cosmic phenomena is miraculously unique to that moustache.

Psh. I know you thought about it way down deep in a dark place you'll never admit to.
It would be pretty inhumane.
Next time, shoot it in the head instead, to give it a quick and painless death.
Then run it over.

It's 10:30am here. I'm going to sleep finally. This book is slowly killing me, but it's all worth it cause I can go home in like 3 weeks.

Also, I was under the assumption that even gay men would fall for their cellist as she is just that awesome.
There could be hope for you yet.
