I'm going to try to sleep, so I can get some shut-eye before my room turns into an EasyBake oven.

Then I'm going to have to get up and move into the next room and sleep for another few hours and somewhat-bearable heat. Man, this summer has sucked for sleepans. :C

Dammit, I just hit my 39th hour of Pandora this month. When the 40th is up, I have to either make a new account and start new stations or pay the $.99 for unlimited listening for the rest of the month.

I think I'll just pay the dollar.

    It's not.

I've got a really fucking nice Boston clock radio in my living room that I leave an auxiliary cable hanging from to throw it on while entertaining, and I totally listen to it throughout most of my shift at work.

Manon you should check out Grooveshark

It doesn't have channels like pandora but you can play specific songs and choose what you want to listen to or you can hit autoplay which would play similar songs to what you're listening to.

Rad. I'm listening to it now. It succeeded in playing Master Blaster from Stevie Wonder, which was my first search. So far, I'm satisfied.

Also, everyone go talk about my update in the board game thread. I demand attention.

I love grooveshark as well, the only problem is there are so many duplicates and some of them are of less than average quality. Besides that it's fantastic.

Aw snap, I love fancy soaps.

Also, being able to listen to almost any song on the whim (The failed to have the Voodoo Glow Skulls version of Here Comes the Sun or anything off of the Hawaiian tribute to Sublime), but it means that I'm arbitrarily listening to stuff I haven't listened to since High School and enjoying it. Now I partially regret paying that dollar to Pandora.

My housemate just said she doesn't want to sign the 'extend your lease by 6 months' papers that she made me harass the real estate agent for, because she 'doesnt know what she's doing in 6 months' and will probably move out before then. Instability in housing sucks. I wanted to move out 2 months ago but stayed because she was going to stay too. Urgh.

DOS BASED SOAP IS TOTALLY BOSS

Looks like they're making a Planet Hulk animated movie.

I gotta say, I loathe most, if not all of Marvel's stuff, but that graphic novel was incredible. A royal flush if you will.

I'm not sure if the movie's going to be as good as the comic was, but it's nice to see Planet Hulk getting some love around the studio.

god damn. My phone will lock up when any two fucking things happen. browsing the web and get a text? Lockup. Talking to someone and get the low battery warning? Lockup. Listening to MP3s and someone across the street finishes baking a pie? Lockup.

So the chow hall serves this... thing called "Turkey Cutlet." However, it doesn't look anything like any piece of a turkey I've ever seen, and the local national guy serving it always does so with a big smile. It really creeps me out. I think it's human.

I dunno I really start losing my appetite when I try to eat it, thinking about all the things it could be.

    Edit:

AND, some days they have the "Turkey Carving Station" where you go watch a dude cut you a piece of real turkey breast. It looks like turkey and tastes good. It also looks nothing like the "Turkey Cutlet."

Heh, you should check out some of the newer MRE's. Chili with Beans is my favorite, but now there's even Chicken with Dumplings and Tuna. The tuna comes with a package of Starkist tuna in water and tortillas with mayo... I don't know why it comes with tortillas.
