I gotta agree that they should have a bracket for 31-39 or something like that. Being against any premade as is painful as a puggie but getting rolled by rr60+ dudes is even worse for morale.

Thinking an engineer sounds fun, what with the clockwork gun turrets and all, but always open to suggestions.
Candymancers is pretty much dead atm.. you're better off with Six Mouths destro side on Iron Rock if you want to play with PA folks.
That's depressing. Just got done leveling Rotnuggets up to 6. Nobody seems to pay attention to a naked dwarf in the scenarios until he's shot you to death.
I'll have to poke through Destruction classes and see what appeals. Maybe a Squig herder.

Just a heads up, I'm gonna let my sub run out due to real life pressures. Got a fucking neuroscience report thats gonna require every waking moment a few weeks after it runs out, I decided not to push my luck by resubbing.
On the other hand, I'm also getting really pissed off by all the bugs they introduced with their bug fix patch. If I didn't have uni though this wouldn't be a factor, but it will be nice to ride out the irritation until I come back.
Doesn't run out till the tenth tho.

I'm still trying to track down what the issue is. I'm about 90% positive it's the video card crapping out but I can't really justify spending the cash on a new one until I'm sure. >_<
so if i wanted to join the TSM on iron rock with my new marauder (oh god the pain), who would i go about contacting? or do i have to fill out one of those apps on the website which i have bookmarked from a year ago.
Well tonight was great, logged on to an alliance 6man running around doing some open rvr. Fast foward 3 hours and I am leading everyone with my plan to take altdorf. After we burned down Reikwatch i spent the next hour convinving everyone to take the keeps, then the BOS then defend eataine despite KV being close to flip. My plan was to unlock shining way, then flip KV so we had two forts going at once. Then got supply lined at KV and they had no MT.
Finally someone stepped upto tank before i could get there, i made it in in time for the end, we wiped order and dropped the lord. Destro in altdorf tonight woohoo!
I hate it when rank 28s are in t4 scenarios. MMOs need a /votekick feature so badly. I've seen 28-30 tanks and dps in t4 scens before, which just makes me wonder "why?".
Why couldn't Mythic just boster anyone 28-39 to be equivalent statwise to a rank 40 Annihilator geared character? They would still be pretty weak compared to a rr60+ Warlord/Invader/Dark Promise geared character but not stupidly so in my opinion.

Well the scenarios are an extension of the oRvR battlefield. That's why scens in T4 open and close as zones are capped/lost. For awhile people who concentrate on oRvR would literally give up on scenarios because when trying to lock a zone for every one of our RR40+ premades there would be three or so scens filled with >40s getting curbstomped by the other side.
If anything there should be a scenario that isn't tied to a zone, maybe tied to Land of the Dead, that the 28-39 crowd can fight over (huge difference skill-set wise between those two extremes though). Maybe give exp for that scenario, but not renown.
But really and truly, you're still going to get rolled by any group that shows up together and on vent. That's just the nature of the game.
I'd love scenarios for groups of 6mans or a WB though. At the very least it would force the pugs to organize or ragequit.
Also, I'm not trying to be some elite asshole, I have a Rank 30 (WE on Dark Crag no less), and other tiers as well, and I get the frustration of going up against dudes wearing Sovereign gear or at the top of the level bracket.

Yarr char named "Detharen" because some level 4 shadow warrior is the only other instance of the name anywhere just had to be on iron rock. When I moved over mouths were in a lull and I ended up getting an invite to Descendants of Malekith. Currently I am an officer, god knows why. If anyone destro on iron rock needs anything feel free to add me to friends, you will probably see me running around PVP, occasionally trying to herd the zerg in region.
Yeah, the city attack was great but it could have been better if we had gotten our whole warband in the same instance instead of having to break it up and go into different ones. As it was, we still won every battle, though one of them was really close. Crests for all.
If anyone needs a guest/resub invite just toss me a PM. That said I hit 67 tonight. 1 more and i get 5% block from 4 piece warlord. Then at 70 i get 6% more. It is going to be interesting having a 55% base block. After all the negatives that is almost 35%. Which with my capped toughness is nothing to sneeze at (because i would most likely block it)
There don't seem to be many healers in our alliance, which is annoying because I end up having to heal on my DoK. If I wanted to do that primarily, I'd play on my WP, who's way better at it. DoK's don't have the tactic that gives you healing power whenever you get hit.

I like when Silverspark shows up and our health bars become fixed stable entities immune to change.
Some of the alliance healers will start the res the second you drop if they can, which is what I try to do and shows they're really paying attention to whats going on.

haha no. I was in a Khaines Embrace the other day where at least one group of order was twinks. 5 Engineers and an AM. By the time we got to there cap point there was a ring of turrets and alot of little projectiles hitting us. Anyone softer then a Chosen had trouble making it to the engins.
He was saying WoW. In which case, removing twinks isn't going to make it any easier to level. See, in WoW, there is no bolster, and if you join a battleground at the entry level, you are basically wasting your time and the time of those on your team. A level 11, for instance, is going to be 2 shotted by a level 19. This in addition to the fact that WoW pvp is basically 2 teams of drooling cretins shoving each other until one falls down, and the ones who complained about twinks are the ones who join the BGs at level 11/21/31 and expect to not get surprise sexed.

haha no. I was in a Khaines Embrace the other day where at least one group of order was twinks. 5 Engineers and an AM. By the time we got to there cap point there was a ring of turrets and alot of little projectiles hitting us. Anyone softer then a Chosen had trouble making it to the engins.
You can kind of twink in T1 in WAR. It involves purple talismans and a lot of them. While they aren't impossible to come by filling out a T1 character with them can be a pain and (depending on the market) more money than it's worth since your required rank 6 talis are going to be pretty crappy within a few hours of playtime. On top of which if you're R6 with all your shiney talis? You're still going to get your ass handed to you hard in scenarios if your team is out ranked.
I've done it to a few T1 alts now and it's fun, but if I step back and look at it I shouldn't. It's usually fairly expensive and not really worth it for the use I get out of them.

I have to say... I love my Magus. Unfortunately on Phoenix Throne T3 has been a ghost town so I play in T4 with her (27) and as Havoc spec I am getting some very impressive kills vs 40s (Thank you undefendable DDs) as well I tend to be ignored by order since I am so low which gives me a fair bit of time to nuke the crap outta someone. Of course I go down like a sack of potatoes if someone does take a liking to me but what are you gonna do.
I now remember why I liked this game so much. I had a blast the whole time (lots n lots of rvr). Going to be sad when I hit level 12 and end up on the bottom of the food chain again.
