Hi guys, sorry if there's already a thread for this kind of thing, I searched but couldn't see anything... Been an avid reader for years, but this is my first time on the forums. Just wanted to post an image I worked on after seeing the Claptraps in the Automata strip. Haven't used PS in a while so some parts are a bit rough. Anyway, thought it'd be cool to do some work based in the Automata universe. So here's the new Claptraps' LP!

That's pretty slick there, Johnny. I would say that in the closeup, the atomic logo looks out of place because it's very obviously still aliased while the rest of it has the old timey patina.

edit: actually, all of the main text looks out of place because it's too crisp and doesn't have the same texture as the rest of the piece.

Also, you should post your images inline in image tags.

Thanks Tam, I see what you mean about the text, my PS is a bit rusty but it's definitely noticeable. I'll try and clean it up tonight. Or dirty it up for that matter!

That's pretty sweet! I am a fan of old timey art deco.

It's nice, but you need to get a paper texture (preferably the same one as the cover) over the top of the text. It's just standing out a bit too much as an overlay at the moment.

Love the design, I agree with Mustang and Tam but other than that, great work.

Did you design the font? Because I love that.
