The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
All the years of PAX are beginning to blur together.
The theatre has always been very unaccomidating for us.. which never made any sense because there were only like three people there who actually went to enjoy the movie, and many, many more who went to make fun of it. Dealing with us would have made them far more money anyways. Maybe with more planning someone could have sweet-talked them.. but I don't think that has ever worked out for us.

Yah, people tried talking to them last year but it was only feasible if we went to a theatre that was further away or something. The one in the mall didn't want anything to do with us. I guess they have to be strict with that so that the 7 people that want to watch the movie come back again *shrug*.
I'm doing my own thing for dinner so I was just looking for another event to attend before the pubcrawl. There is a theater that lets your rent it out but you have to pick your own movie and get permission and stuff. So Maybe next year.
last year it was death race. about 15+ showed up but we couldn't heckle because there were other people in the theater. I had to leave it halfway because I had to meet the people I was rooming with, but it was alright. I didn't think anyone made plans this year because of the difficulties with it.

How about the pre-PAX breakfast? Is that missing this year as well?

Wait, that doesn't sound any earlier than before. I killed a bunch of time last year after eating, got to the convention at like 9:00 and still was pretty early. Or so I recall...after a night of hard drinking. Maybe I'm wrong then.
@The_Reflection: You show up at 7:00 and I'll be there. If this isn't going down "un"officially, then I'll just make sure to spam Twitter before I head out.

If I'm not K.O.'ed from the night before, I'm in.
Given our potential hangovers, it would propbably be smart to get breakfast before doors open.
does anyone remember the name of the place we went last year for breakfast? That place outside of pike's place with the unlimited pancakes, and quite possibly the best chili cheese omlette i've ever had.
I just emailed the person who handles renting out landmark theatres in seattle. I work for a theatre so it is possible to get a little discount when I get a figure I will let you know. I only said late September 3rd
Oh. Before dinner.....
(She just emailed me back)
Well 9pm-midnight for a theatre that fits 185 is only 300 dollars. Which IS privy. But if we got say 50 people. 6 dollars only. Also we can play WHATEVER we want...... just not what is currently being played....

it was becoming an increasingly worse idea as people kept getting kicked out.

Thursday is pretty full as it is.
I hope not, I assume every one is still meeting up at Pike's Place like last year?

It's possible it'll be out on the thursday. Will have to see closer to the date I guess.
PAX starts early this year. So not as much time as previous years for a breakfast.
How early this year?

Anyway, I wouldn't mind joining everybody for a breakfast, though it will probably depend on location and if I feel like getting up that early.
