Ok the deal is that I work as an idustrial cook (basically in a big factory with food, has nothing to do with resturant cooking) and we use water for quite a bit of stuff and occasionally the floor gets wet which leads to my feet getting wet which leads to me getting cold which sucks ass.
I did order some boots that were ok through work, the problem though is after only 2-3 months of working there, they already have a hole in them. Which makes the fact that they're waterproof a moot point.
So I need to find replacement boots, which is impossible in my hometown because my feet are size 16 mens (50.5 EUR just in case). So I was hoping maybe someone could direct me to a company or website to cheack out for some good large sized waterproof boots to buy.
tl:dr - Bedlam needs boots with the following requirements
Size 16 with comfortable width
Waterproof
Durable
Not to expensive
Preferabley 6 in with some sort of fastener (my old ones were 12 in slip ons which I dont really care for)
Any links to good boot companys would be greatly appreciated.
Should be a safety officer dealing with this. Industrial accident waiting to happen.
Find your safety rep, or your union rep and request a fix. It can be as simple as quality boots for everyone (on the company's dime) and some drainage pads on the floor to ensure you don't slip.
Besides having a safety inspector look into your kitchen, go to an outdoors store and buy some heavy duty water proof boots used for hunting in swamps. The only downside is most of them are padded, so instead of having cold feet, you'll have hot feet.

Ive already cheacked around town and they only go up to 13s in town. Which is bullshit considering there are some tall dutchmen. I guess I could go for a drive out of town but Im not sure wear some good places would be.
You're probably not going to find good boots for cheap in a size 16.
I only wear a 14, and I had to pay $200 for mine.
The ones I already bought through the company's dealer were only like $30 but they had a hole in them already after 2 months. So if I had to keep buying them like that would it be cheaper in the end?
As far as safety I know there are Quality control people who are constantly cheacking out the kitchens so thats not a problem, perhaps I was misunderstood in my first post
Im not sure where you live or where they ship, but i posted the website address to a good company. Any chance you could just order them off the internet? Sure it would be nice to actually try them on in the store, but since you cant seem to find anything at all around town, i think you might be out of options.

[edit] They've got 6" waterproof boots starting at $94 going up to $155, but they really are great boots.
I love Timberland boots for hiking and work.
