Blizzard: Wait, WoW's Not Their Only Game?

So BlizzCon.jpg 2009 is happening this month. Which means news about...

I didn't make this thread just for what's coming from Blizzard though. I also want to talk about what came before. Namely these games.

I own all three and their expansions (except for Frozen Throne. That one always eluded me for some reason or the other) and I love playing them all. I'm sure more then a few here in SE++ feels the same and probably have one or more of them still installed. I wouldn't reinstalling one or two of them myself if we can get some matches or D2-play started myself. How about it?

Oh, and my faves from each game are Barbarian, Terran and the Undead. Though D2's Necromancer's pretty cool too.

    I weened myself off off WoW but I eagerly await my next opportunities to give blizzard monies.

    I can't want for starcraft II and diablo III, they are going to be awesome!

    Also, I hope they ship starcraft II with a sweet map editor because custom games are amazing. I still play DotA.

    I kinda wish I could find my Warcraft III discs. I'm afraid it would make me crave WoW again though.

    Update: Blizzard says that Diablo 3 is unaffected by the delay.

    In the long battle between Blizzard's standards and the calendar year, the calendar again came out the loser today with the announcement that the studio's anticipated RTS sequel StarCraft II has been delayed into the first half of 2010.

    Blizzard attributed the delay to needing additional time to produce the new version of Battle.net, its online gaming service. Though few details are available on the new portal, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick likened it to Xbox Live in its combination of gameplay and social networking features.

    "Over the past couple of weeks, it has become clear that it will take longer than expected to prepare the new Battle.net for the launch of the game," said Blizzard in a statement.

    Really, with the fact that they gave any warning as to the release date other than "Aaaaaaaaand TOMORROW BUY IT NOW" it was sort of expected.

    I'll be updating mine as well solely for Diablo III.

    Been a long while, but I think I went for BCs too. I was probably crap when it came to using their Yamato-Cannons though.

    Terrans were the bomb diggity

    they needed neither additional pylons nor spawned overlords

    two siege tanks, a missle turret, and a bunker full of marines could defend against ANYTHING

    It's been over 10 years and I still can't manage nuking effectively.

    one of my friends took that class

    :|

    and nuking is super easy:

    1). build a couple ghosts and a couple dropships

    2). load one ghost into each dropship

    3). comsat the enemy base and find a spot where he doesn't have detectors

    4). send all your dudes in through a gap in his mans, or just fly all the dropships in and hope one gets through

    5). profit

    Yessss, I loved this. I tried to have two groupings of that by each entrance point to my base. Maybe replaced one of the Marines with a Firebat in case things got a little too close for comfort. Probably not too helpful though if you're playing against someone who likes Ghosts though.

    Nuking is only easy if your opponent is a complete retard.

    Find red dot, move a detector over to said dot. Kill the ghost.
