The thing that impressed me most about that trailer was the step forward in level design. Everything, the lighting, the use of colour was done perfectly to set a mood and a completely different setting to the almost "Clean" view of the citadel.
It also looks like Bioware have managed to squeeze much more out of the engine, as this game looks so much better than the first. takyris, please high-five your art/level designers if you see them in the corridor for me. With the good arm of course. And not too hard, because all of your hilarious contributions to this thread so far have (mostly) prevented us from spiralling into anarchy and in-jokes and we can't risk you losing the other arm.
Next week on Mindoirville - When the students are forced to disect a Rachni, how will Shepard cope? And when the Class Council finds out, will they let him start the big game?
You might as well have named Shepard "Man" or Liara "Blue".

Casey Hudson: For those who haven't played Mass Effect, I should mention that (a) there are some spoilers ahead, and (b) you really should play Mass Effect. I'd say the top 3 decisions are probably the choice of who lives and dies in the nuclear explosion on Virmire, who you had a romance with (if any), and whether you allowed the Galactic Council to die during the final battle. These things naturally cause some of the longer-lasting effects on your story as Commander Shepard. Another interesting aspect is that the sum of your decisions – your renegade / paragon status – also has an immediate and profound effect that we can't explain without giving away some of the story.
After the main video ends (and the end logo), there is a still of some concept art for the bonus armour.

Eh. Yeah, looks like a Cylon. Not worth the fuss of preordering DA to me sadly. I'm still on the fence on that one. As much as I love ME, it's the first Bioware game I've ever really cared for. I'll wait and see how it is.
Also, watching that video again and paying attention to the environments instead of Grunt, yeah, massive upgrade over ME. That place looks shit hot.

are we going to get some anti-aliasing in the game? because omega looks awesome (just finished reading ascension this morning) and i would like to see it look as good as the screenshots.

I love how the population count on the trailer goes down right at the start, makes the thing seem very ominous.
Well, in the interview they said that the omega station is like the polar opposite of the Citadel, it's the center of crime in the galaxy. I think the population counter was just linked to that saying some criminals are getting their kill on.
are we going to get some anti-aliasing in the game? because omega looks awesome (just finished reading ascension this morning) and i would like to see it look as good as the screenshots.
