are we going to get some anti-aliasing in the game? because omega looks awesome (just finished reading ascension this morning) and i would like to see it look as good as the screenshots.
Get the PC version? :winky:
I never noticed any bad aliasing in the 360 version. I don't think I saw much at all, really, although that may be because of the high resolution I was using.

At the bottom of my browser window it states where a link leads. It's not my problem if your browser doesn't or you fail to use that feature and then ignore the warning and stay on the page that loads.

Er, have you tried turning it on in your display drivers? You can override game settings you know.
EDIT: I don't have the PC version, but I'm just assuming that should work. Maybe it doesn't.
After watching the trailer I could have sworn id heard the music in the niteclub in another game before so after a good half hour of rummaging through old cd's i found it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aTT7hcVpN8
need for speed takes place in the same universe as mass effect confirmed? maybe not... :P

Yeah, most UE3 games support AA through the control panel, but don't include it with their in-game options. There've been enough of them that do this, that the first thing I do when I don't see AA in the game options is to turn it on in the video control panel
Firefly being cancelled has probably worked out super nice for him. He's pretty much cornered that geek fan market now, with voice work in a whole lotta stuff and a bunch of tv shows. I used to spend ages wrangling the marines in the sideseat of my warthog in halo 3 just to get jayne marine. his dialog was so funny.
Seriously, I will personally name Grunt's guns if necessary. Baldwin was already my hero for Jayne Cobb, but then he shows up in Chuck? Now Mass Effect 2? :!:
I don't know who I'm going to go with in the game. If a number of my cohorts from the first game return, since you can apparently recruit a number of them back, I'll probably stick with them through the majority of my first playthrough. It could be pretty cool if you could carry them through the entire trilogy. I'm kind of getting the vibe the character you romanced from the first game does return, so that's one slot already taken up. I just hope returning characters and your interactions with them will continue to be interesting. I'd be a bit disappointed if the new characters hugely overshadowed the old ones.
Of course, Ms. No Space Bra is voiced by Yvonne Strahovski. She might be hard to pass up. :P

Plus Ashley would be all THATS MY MAN BITCH and Chesty LaRue would be all OH YEAH I HAVE TITS and shit would get real
Ashley and Tits, huh? I never thought of that, since I went with Liara and toasted Ashley based on the tactical decision at the time. I mean, Ashley is a bad ass, foul mouthed soldier. Tits might be some bad ass, foul mouthed criminal. The two together could be an ultimate bad ass, foul mouthed pair. Of course, if Tits pushes around timid little Liara, that could be fun, too.
I actually have two save files where I went with Ashley and then Liara, so Mass Effect 2 is probably make me replay it at least two times based on those decisions from the first game, in addition to the plethora of times I'll play through it to see various decisions in the sequel itself. Mass Effect 2, Alpha Protocol, and Dragon Age are going to ruin me with their absolute ridiculous amount of replayability. On the other hand, I probably won't have to buy any other games for a very long time!

Hollllllllllllllllly shit. Yvonne's in this game? Is she using her Australian accent or her American one?
Also, I am scared for the amount of times it sounds like I'll be playing through ME1 so I can start ME2 with different import conditions.
i no rite?
I've got about three saves. They're all paragon, though, since I can NEVER seem to play evil/asshole characters in games. I've tried, but I can never follow through. Imagine how I felt with Fallout 3's The Pitt where both choices led to bad consequences. I was a very depressed, sad puppy.
Save 1: Romance Ashley, save Ashley.
Save 2: Romance Liara, save Ashley.
Save 3: Romance Liara, save Kaiden.
I'll probably go with number three, because my decisions on Virmire made more tactical sense instead of being based on emotions like the other two were.
And yes, Yvonne is in the game. The character she voices, Miranda (Tits McGee), even kind of looks like her both in-game and on the cover art.

My only completed playthrough was Save Ashley; Romance Ashley.
It was a bit of a Paragon mixed with bits of Renegade. I generally am always super good dude, but some of the Renegade choices weren't moustache-twirling evil.
Also that character model has a huge forehead. I'l be interested to see whether the hair moves in any kind of realistic way in this update to their modded U3 engine.
It's from an early build, so I know they'll polish it soon, but I look at those screenshots, and all I see is Ash's dead girlfriend from Evil Dead 2 doing that dance on the tree. I think it's the ludicrous hairline.

"Those landmines I planted around his yard were pretty obvious, its not my fault that he stepped on one."
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
Its a more potent form of wikicrack.
It was probably made by a demon of some sort.
ITT: We learn that Santa is a crack dealing demon.
Of course!
It makes perfect sense now.

Grunt isn't getting a ride on my painwagon, he doesn't look like the type of krogan that could critique a 30 year oban with me after a terse firefight
Isn't Adam Baldwin doing the voice of Grunt? Doesn't that make Grunt a permanent party member by default?
Wow, I wasn't aware of that. It sure as hell will ensure a spot on my squad at all times (except when doing the inevitable ally achievements).

You just rocked my world. Grunt confirmed for permanent party member for playthrough 1.
Here's hoping Grunt names his guns.
I'm going call you argh!, and you shall be whaaaaaaaaa.

So, we've got like 50% of Chuck in ME2. To this end, I may have to make Engineer Chuck Shepard, and run with Grunt and Titties.

Well Adam Baldwin is using his 'giant alien space toad' accent so I guess all bets are off.
