Just go into your 360 memory and delete all the files associated with ME.

There's probably markers in your save file saying you have x achievement and to give you that bonus; but that shouldn't stop you from getting the achievements unless it specifically tells the game to stop tracking it.

If you don't mind losing your crap just delete the files then go do a quick achievement you haven't gotten yet on your account.

The position as the councils most ultimate badass probably draws that type of personality. Spectres seems like the type of loner asshole job. The good guys are the security and police like C-Sec that have rules and trials.

Since when was being an asshole reason enough to disqualify a character from further development?

It's Mass Effect. You know, that game where you get to choose how much of an asshole/nice guy you want to be.

Meh, I'm not commenting on him getting further character development. Go ahead, develop him all you want. Just don't be surprised if you find little more than complete douche there in the end.

Man my first two playthroughs were all "Yes council! Yes alliance! Let's be friends! Everyone like me!"

I stopped putting up with that shit now. I fucking warned you, you bitches, shut up.

Though I did get annoyed at the council early on and told them off for telling me what to do and they were all "Look we're here to advise and that's what we're doing... we know it's your call but we'll still give you advice" and I felt a bit douche-y

Well it was right after rescuing Liara, and directly after they were all "Do you trust her?" and I was all "Seriously? Seriously? She has a place in my party slot, she won't turn evil in a Bioware game! Shut up assholes!" and they were all "Hey we're just here to advise you... don't get all uppity because we're doing our job" and I was all "Ok, right. Sorry" and then they were all "Why did you blow the place up" and I was all "Fucking seriously? God you suck" and they were all "Yeah, totally right, sorry we doubted you there.. that was dumb of us"

and I hated them a little less then.

Wouldn't it be best, then, to save a pre-Indoctrinated Saren for some kind of prequel trilogy? Play as the bad-ass turian. Play through the mission to determine Anderson's viability as a Spectre candidate?

Why be so limiting as to magically put a 'recording' of his younger brain into a robot just to be second banana to Shepard?

A quite interesting plot thread in ME2, I imagine, will be the romance one. Because the player by that game will (may) have an already-established relationship. This means that the story that plays out will be one of new girl vs. existing girl, which (so far as I am aware) hasn't been played out in an RPG before. It's often no girls > choice of two or three, but we actually get the temptation chapter.

My friendly femshep is going to stick with being a lesbian alien lover, but my asshole maleshep is going to dump Ashley so hard.

If there is anything remotely like that in ME2 I will play another game where I romance Ashley right fucking now.

Although I disliked Ashley much less as I was romancing Kaiden on my FemShep. There was this "Kaiden is cute and all but I'm a decent enough person to lay off your Kool-Aid" bit that actually made me feel bad for leaving her to die during my last 7 runs (all of them). I romanced Liara just kind of by default. I yelled at Ashley for questioning bringing the aliens onboard, then found out that Tali wasn't romanceable.

Chances are that she's getting dumped.

On that topic, there's one thing that I wish was possible:
Romancing Ashley or Kaiden (and getting the "scene") and then leaving them to die on Virmire.

It would be a great choice for a non-racist, but Renegade Male Shepard.

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to remain as racist as possible in this game. I'm going for a Palpatine sort of build, with assault rifles. I want to belittle and insult my alien counterparts, I'm not getting much of an option for that.

Shepard isn't really racist, in Renegade mode he's got a sensible Humanity First attitude and in Carebear mode he's got another sensible We've Got To Work With These Guys mode.

Both attitudes are on equal footing in terms of morality, it's just that some folks around here hate humanity because they're neckbeards who wish for a zombie apocalypse.

It's when Ashley and Liara comes to you and says you have to choose, if you choose why can't I have both, it defaults to Liara I think you have to specifically pick Ashley to keep going with it.

stick to options on the left side of the wheel as a general principle.

and i can commiserate with the 'default to liara' thing. let's hope we don't have to settle in mass effect 2.

    How to make Ashley mad:
Tell her you don't want her on the ship.
    Call her a racist.
Make fun of her for believing in God.
Make nasty comments about her sister.

I haven't tested all those, but I'm pretty sure doing any of them keeps you from romancing her. I did the second.

First year is jokes, designed to bring all the students to a common level.

Second year is hell, you're rammed full of general engineering-ish knowledge and maths.

Third and fourth year your brain changes to think like an engineer, as you learn technical information and more maths.

In difficulty, I'd say it goes First, Fourth, Third and Second in terms of easiest to hardest.

Fortunately, second year isn't often counted for graduate studies.
