Rolls done via character sheet will now link the character name back to your sheet. :^:

Del, this is probably the most useful thing that anyone has done with the ability to use the information from the dnd4e character file... things.

i don't pretend to know how to code

all i know is that there's stuff in there a dude can use because of xmls or something

but most dudes who know about this stuff haven't done much of anything good with it

Random tidbit of information, since I was chatting with Shoe about this in IRC, I figured you guys might be interested.

When a new dragon is born, it takes its name from its parent, adding a syllable onto the end. So, for example, you get Khazari, Daughter of Khaza, Daughter of Khaz, spawn of Bahamut. Hence, Khazari is a third-generation Dragon(Khaz-a-ri,) and much closer to Bahamut than, say, Thilandraxisakshinahar, as Thil-an-dra-xi-sak-shi-na-har is eighth-gen.

Also, Ancients tend to make their names sound more impressive by adding a title, which tends to include an appellation given by fearful mortals, their color and age, as well as the servitors they control and their lair. This is typically a Chromatic trait, but Elder and Ancient metallics who have sworn to Bahamut will do this as well, including their rank in the Platinum Host. An example of a metallic who does this, the Corpse-Dragon, Ancient White Mar, Lord of the Unborn Host, Master of the Bastion of Souls.
Called the Corpse-Dragon because of his unique appearance, is an Ancient White, name of Mar, controls the Unborn Host, and lairs in the Bastion of Souls.

    Neat, huh?

...Where the hell are you pulling 19 damage off of Dire Radiance's second attack? Even if your crit carried over, which it doesn't, the most you could do would be 15. Because your Con is 18, not 20. You have a +4 to damage, not +5.

    Counting curse damage again, maybe?

But, yeah. That damage calc is messed up in a number of ways.

i'm guessing that he screwed up the 5 and the 10 on vulnerable and resist

speaking of, don't forget Indra's resistant 5 to necrotic and radiant :P

It's a well known fact that I can't do math.

I meant 15, because I went off the assumption that a crit would apply to the second damage as well since there's no roll for it. If not, then it's just d6+9.

it will definitely take its attention away from the current snack its munching on.

imagine: youre a big scary nightmare parasite and youre used to eating adventurers for breakfast. as youre munching on some shaman, this gnome comes charging at you without any friggen weapons. you would have to think to yourself "holy shit, what is about to happen?"

Worst case scenario, the nightmare parasite gets heartburn.

"The nightmare parasite is suffering from terrible heartburn. Roll a D20 before it attacks. If you roll a 1 or a 20, the heartburn gives the parasite a -1 damage penalty for the round. It can end this effect by finding some tums and consuming them (a minor action)."

Except for it actually requiring a minor action for swallowing something, that pretty much sounds like stuff from an AD&D monster manual.
