My brother's three year old went to a birthday party with a star wars theme. The parents went all out making little jedi robes for all the kids and light sabers out of some duct tabe and brightly colored foam tubes. During the party the kid's dad comes walking out dressed as Darth Vader and the kids go nuts. Now this is all happening on the beach where, a couple hundred yards away a couple is getting married. They thought the whold thing was so great they asked, and obtained permission, to get photos of themselves with the group.
So somewhere, out there, there's a picture of newly weds with Darth Vader surrounded by a bunch of three foot tall jedi.

My university wants to charge me $447 for health insurance for one quarter. I can not opt out unless I have health insurance.
This makes me feel entirely justified in engaging in physical violence against anyone who opposes universal healthcare.

I do have to say that whenever anything comes up about dating and the whole Pick Up thing and abloo how difficult it all is, it makes me so happy to be in a committed long-term relationship.
I'm not sure I could cope if I was trying to meet people and dating and such like. It sounds like a nightmare.
I think the best part about the PUA thread is all the "Well, I can sort of understand why guys would want to take these classes." and all I can think about is how much of a shitty justification that is. To be hyperbolic, it's like responding to a murder with: "Well, I can understand why he'd murder that dude. Sometimes I get reallllly angry at people."
