Internet is somewhat intermittent

My internet is acting all funny. I'm having trouble connecting to things, yet when I do everything acts all fine. It's weird, I can connect to wow and then stay connected, my IM programs stay connected, but web pages take many many reloads to try and get to work. How can I fix this?
