Basically watch that and get the basic gist of what I'm saying.

SPECIFICS: Vista64 Bit, Nvidia Drivers 190.38, 9800GTX+ in SLI, XFX nForce 790i Mobo, 4 GB ram.

I have no idea what to do here, it won't see the TV, how does I fix. Please ask me if you need more info.

Thank you guys so much

You probably have to configure some stuff in the nvidia drivers or disable SLI to get multi-monitor working. I've never used SLI before so I don't know how that works.

I'd try rebooting the computer with the TV connected, and the monitor unplugged. If you get something up on the TV, then its likely some sort of driver/sli/configuration/two screen problem. If you don't get any picture then your computer doesn't like the cable/tv or fails at hdmi or something.

Apparently you can use SLI multimonitor in Vista only. From what I've read.

    Ill try it out.

    No picture.

There is something more sinister at work here, for I did this last year with no problems. Video card drivers/Motherboard BIOs or something...

I guess you need to work out whats changed since it last worked then, and systematically test these things.

Even though the cable works with one device, its possible (though rather unlikely) that its out of spec and so might not work on every device, so I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.

I was under the impression that DVI-HDMI cables don't send the sound signal.

Certain cards can, with a SPDIF Cable. AND OH MY GOD I HAD IT PLUGGED IN RIGHT, AUDIO WORKS! OH HAPPY DAY!

(But yeah, the little SPDIF cable plugs into the side of the Video Card and into some pins on the Motherboard.)
