ubers are pretty intrinsic to gameplay, particularly offense, at all levels of play
this is true and I am not claiming otherwise
I am just saying that I liked having them just a little bit not as good
and this is coming from a guy who plays a LOT of medic so it's not just me being irritated at being set on fire by yet another ubered pyro
Again, though - completely dismantling an entire uber was way, waaaay too powerful. Being able to mostly counter an uber as a pyro is fine, because it's a class where one of the defining features is the usefulness of the leafblower. And if they're coordinated, they can usually fight past you anyways, or at least accomplish their objective.
Whereas the whole stunning through Uber meant that well, you were standing there doing fuck all while your uber ticked down.

Juggling uber-ed enemies as the pyro is such a satisfying feeling.
Wasting their entire eight seconds with them in the air.
I don't see getting bonked while ubered as any worse than getting airblasted
that's because you have a history of being stupid
Druhim I think your usually well timed knee jerk responses have failed you in this instance. But hey if you can still maintain control of your aim while being juggled high five.

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.
Is it just me or is the sandman not always stunning people when it hits them. I am constantly hitting people with the ball and it just bounces off like nothing happened.

but at least you can still shoot while being juggled
and let's face it, actually juggling an uber during the entire uber rarely gets pulled off
odds are you'll get killed before their uber runs out, assuming one even is good enough to pull off a juggle for the whole uber

There's a minimum distance before the stun works. Otherwise, it just hits them and rolls away.

I'm hitting them from stun distance, Is there like a timer from when you get stunned until you can be stunned again maybe.
Which in turn fucked over my achievement, because I already had it, now it tells me i have 16/2 and it seems i can't get it again
Needlgun/blut does 15 dmg per hit, btw blut just returns 3hp to the medic.
Rocket Launcher is part of the soldiers image, replacing it with another weapon seems unlikely, Valve will prob do something along the lines of less damage, more force, knock people into the air, mini-crits on airborne targets kinda thing, encouraging air shots for extra damage, making it easier to get people in the air, but you have to nail the airshot to make it worthwhile.
Does no one remember defensive Ubers? Before the airblast and sandman, best defense against an Uber was a counter Uber or a Demo/Soldier could seperate an Uber pair. With the Pyro Airblast, it can render an Uber totally worthless, but you have to get in close for that payoff the Uberee should be shooting at you and you have to be careful of the rest of the team following that Uber in.
The Stun was completely different in that it can be fired from miles away and render the Uber useless, no risk for quite a payoff.
You're implying an awful lot, if someone else is around to kill the pyro, someone else is around to get ubered if the uberee gets bonked.
Killing the pyro airblasting you around wastes just as much, usually more, than the 2-4 seconds of an average bonk.
pyro also has to get close enough to airblast without getting killed by the person they're trying to airblast
a scout can stun you from much longer away

i killed like three sentries as an ubered demo while being both airblasted and propelled by sentry fire once

The hit detection on it is notoriously bad, it's probably just that.
also does this mean I should try experimenting with it again
i mean, will i still be able to sleep at night if i do a few FaN rounds

my greatest moment in tf2 was at the start of some map where i had thoughtlessly placed eight stickies on a hill. Medic and heavy walk onto them
the vertical was pretty great.

And scouts with the sandman have 95 hp now. Their usefulness outside 1v1 encounters is getting negligible.

full stun distance sandman hits are like, great shot kid, that was one in a million.
