I'm going to go ahead and say that I don't like viaduct
nucleus and sawmill are awesome because the map is basically a circle - the point's smack dab in the middle, but the pathways around to the enemy spawns are worthwhile enough that there's fighting going on there
viaduct is just a big dumb line with a koth point in the middle, and literally the entire game is both sides shooting at each other from their sides while occasionally a few guys run in to take the point and get killed
it's basically TF2 - WWI edition

Arena is easily my least favorite gametype.
I'd rather play yet another round of Dustbowl than any Arena map.

Not on the pub I was just on. It sat there for five minutes killing everyone until I gave up and went demo and blew the damn thing up myself.
I really want to get to play more KOTH on the PA servers, because I assume the teams wouldn't be too dumb to live in that case
I mean honest to god playing on a 1-hour-per-map KOTH server was a truly idiotic move on my part because the teams were stacked to fuck
However I did get three crit pipe bombs in a row and obliterated the guys who were dominating me so it wasn't all bad

Weren't you in the viaduct game where me and your mother were playing engi and managed to get top MVP three times out of five?

Weren't you in the viaduct game where me and your mother were playing engi and managed to get top MVP three times out of five?
Engineering is not that bad on Viaduct
That was not me. I was on the team that was getting rolled down a hill.
with the exception of the Spy and Sniper items (ironically) I would put more faith in the random drops than I would getting the items through achievements
it's not deliberate. it might have something to do with them updating rocket/sticky jumps to stop team-mates absorbing the splash and altering the jump
This is gonna sound weird, but I wish they'd give the soldier an assault rifle with a grenade launcher or something.
Without the rocket launcher he could run a little faster, to make up for the lack of rocket jumps, and the grenades could detonate on impact where ever they land, so he's not really taking anything away from the demo man. And other than the heavy, whose speed is greatly reduced when he fires, no unit really has a good automatic rifle, the SMG really doesn't fit that description. It could be cool having him turn into a commando of sorts, sorta rambo-esque.

I'm not sure what hitscan means, mind explaining it to me?
Also, it doesn't need to be be too powerful, each bullet could take like 3 damage from a person, like the needle gun. In a 30 round clip, that would be 90 damage, and accuracy could decrease the longer you hold it down. Kinda like, and I really hate saying this, in counter strike.
It doesn't have to be really hard to aim, but should be something that works best when fired in bursts.

except maybe Bonk! and then just run away
got too tied up in trying to get the special items to actually enjoy it, I think

also heavies but only if they're injured
takes flame+two hits on a full health heavy and at point blank he will rape you much faster than you can get two blows off
Also good for screwing with scouts/spies.
Scouts aren't so fast when their skinny ass is air-blasted to a corner.

people tend to get there with about 2 health left and i used to use the flare gun so i was pretty much helpless in water beyond my puny axe
