Also this is the description for the new Punisher MAX book
An all-new ongoing series from the acclaimed team of Jason Aaron (WOLVERINE: WEAPON X) and Steve Dillon (PUNISHER: WELCOME BACK FRANK), two guys who were born to tell the exploits of Marvel's most brutal vigilante.
Wilson Fisk is a bodyguard for mob boss Don Rigoletto, but he has his eyes on a much bigger prize, and he's gonna use Frank Castle to help him realize his dreams. The biggest story in MAX history begins here, as we witness the birth of the greatest villain the Punisher has ever faced.

Shit yeah
I've been saying this ever since Ennis left: Bring Jason Aaron on board, damnit.
I personally kind of like the idea of the MAX line-up being like the Ultimate line-up but with more blood. Just as long as it isn't only that, throwing in grittier versions of Marvel characters is a pretty cool concept.

Well the thing is Marvel is touchy about mainstream characters being used in MAX because of its content, and more specifically in Punisher because it's supposed to be more grounded
Which is why Fury and Jigsaw are the only mainstream characters we've really seen in Punisher MAX
But yeah certain characters I think would work well in this setting and Kingpin is one of them
Also yes Six Hours To Kill was a cool arc. That doesn't mean I don't want something new
He's in Utopia at the moment, playing out in a crossover between DA and Uncanny X. And there's a Dark X-Men miniseries of 3 following short stories of every member in the group and why they're there.
Actually, Mimic's in particular (which was in the first issue) was excellent.
I also really dug how the voices inside his head were depicted
I wasn't a big fan of the Flaming-Hulk design they gave him but "Put on Pants!" "Fortune 500!" and "Fire Eyes!" made up for it, cause that was entertaining as shit.

It's never fucking ending
I like that it's not Generic Punisher Story #12 or Punisher Story with a Twist #7 either (FRANK IS GOING TO DIE IN SIX HOURS)
It's kinda his own thing

Otherwise, the team is sort of odd? I don't know. I'll probably buy it anyway but it is definitely an unusual lineup.
(that spoiler)
Yeah.

"I thought I did."
They stopped soliciting it because they already solicited all the issues. #6 was in October's solicitations, but each issue got pushed back a month

Dammit I am trying not to be a Gillen fanboy here but he needs to not write more comics than I can justify buying.
