The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Tonight is the 3rd season premiere of the best show on TV right now, AMC's Mad Men. It focuses on the life of the above pictured man, Don Draper, who is the creative director of a 1960's Manhattan based ad agency, Sterling Cooper. Don Draper is simply put one of the most fascinating characters in the history of television.
But don't sell the rest of the cast short either.
I just finished a marathon weekend of devouring the entire 2nd season on blu-ray in anticipation of the premiere tonight. Lets talk about how dreamy John Hamm is and how January Jones and Christina Hendricks are the prettiest women on tv and did I mention it's the best written show ever.

It looks like they are trying to be 1960's in that picture a little too hard. But, I've heard nothing but good things and as soon as I'm done deadwood, this is next.
also, its weird to me how i first started watching, and thought peggy was kinda unattractive and dowdy, at least compared to the other two ladies. but the more i watched, the hotter she got.

they intentionally made her look more homely, they even talk about that on the season 1 dvd special features. It's the bangs

it didnt help that she was wearing a fat suit for the latter half of S1
Just finished the last episode of season two, and getting the evening primed for the premiere.
Also, whoever said some crap about them trying too hard to "be in the 60s"? What does that even mean? I find it hard to believe a 60 year old (besides Dru, naturally) is posting at SE, so, um, shut the fuck up. That oughtta do it.

I really need to watch more of this show.
I think The Generalissimo was my favourite episode last season
"He's lighting a dynamite tied to that child's head!"
Everyone has something to hide.

See y'all in 2 days.
Too much Betty (ugh...) and Don's travels of self-discovery felt a little flaky.
Well she's fine if she's muted.
There needs to be a Joan centric storyline
I was actually hoping she would get the job as broadcast operations or whatever

I agree with the Joan storyline sentiment. I felt super bad for her by the end of season 2.
