Computer won't recognize my zune.

I have windows vista, and haven't really had any issues with my zune before. But all of a sudden, my computer no longer recognizes that I have the zune.
It's odd, because it will recognize other things, so I'm pretty sure that it's not the USB ports, and the player still charges. In fact, I created a new admin profile and plugged it in, and it says that it recognizes the zune and installs the drivers, saying that it's sucessfully been installed. Though it also says
zune searching for preconfigured driver folder....
Just like that, so I'm not sure if it's recognizing anything. I know that my computer is not recognizing it as a portable device though. It doesn't show up anywhere in my system. I tried reseting the zune player, uninstalling the software and installing it again to no avail.
I'm really hoping it's not my zune. I just got placed on a special project at work that keeps me just doing basically data entry, and I need my music.
