As part of the graduation process for all North Carolina High School students, I am required to do a senior project on one particular subject. I have chosen the art of web comic design, and will need a little bit of information for the upcoming year. What I want to know is how Mr. Gabe produces the art for this comic. I have long suspected that he hand draws the comic, scans it, then uses Photoshop. Of course, I could be completely wrong. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me.

I believe these days he does it all on his tablet
he also does a live stream of many of his comic drawings these days
Don't hold me to it, but I swear I've heard mention of him having a Wacom Cintiq. If I remember right there was a newspost when he upgraded to it, but it's been 2-3 years.
Gabe sketches the comic by hand, scans it, imports it into Photoshop, and inks/colors it with a Wacom Intuos. You can watch him do it live if you follow his twitter or check the front page often.
