    when i was in grade 13 i was in the school play

    we had an after-play awards dinner that was 'black tie'

    one of the male leads decided that it actually meant 'yellow tie' so he wore a yellow tuxedo

    he cut his beard very much like the stripedudes in the OP

    he also ran a contest (being president of student council) wherein people had to eat popcorn out of his neckbeard
