I thought the teaser and special effects were incredibly underwhelming. Considering for two years I've been hearing that it would revolutionize the film industry, contain the BEST CGI ever, have the most realistic CGI ever, blow us away, I was at least expecting more than the average teaser.
And the furfags and elf fuckers are gonna lap this up and flood us with Rule34s of those Navi aliens.:x

I thought the Final Fantasy movie, while awful, had incredible CGI. I remember there being a debate among my friends as to whether it was live-action or not when we first saw the posters for it.
Someone said this looks like Battle of Terra and holy shit, it is basically that movie. With very slightly better CGI. I am incredibly disappointed.

Man, everyone is all talking about how disappointed they are after seeing a tiny shitty trailer on their computers when the whole fucking point of the movie is seeing it in a 3D theater.

who the hell is that?
I just watched the trailer, and a lot of it was part of the Comic-Con footage
when it's in 2D and in a quicktime window like that, it looks pretty, but not revolutionary
but when you watch it on big screens, with, yes, 3D, it just pops
One of the most glaring instances where the vehicle design is directly responsible for a character's death.

Oh hey, I get the joke you were making!

because I'm hearing a lot of nay-sayers
is this movie 100% cgi? because there's no way the humans are cgi. no way.
it's cgi whenever they're on the planet
the humans are real, that's about it
God damn it metzger. It's not 100% cgi.
We're not talking about some 10-day French uprising in the 1600's that only you know about, shut it.
I chuckled
that was not a good burn, Metzger
What?
You're dumb, that's what.
Yeah, how do you like that? I bet that stings.
Like a burn would.
That worked remarkably well, but, clearly, you should have gone with Savages.

At least I know how to ride a bike.
It doesn't matter though because no one wants to ride bikes with you because you had head-lice earlier this year and Susie said you eat boogers.

remember last year when my dad made a sizable charity donation to the teacher's union?
remember how he said it MIGHT happen again this year?
your dad also made a sizable donation to the meth dealers of this state
and I've seen the plaque the hooker community's made for him
don't be teachin' in my classroom boy
This movie looks really fucking cool.

In terms of screen minutes, Cameron has said it's 60% completely CGI.
But... this is the animated one.
take a breather, buddy

like I said Im not really a fan of furry cat elves but I'm not jumping ship
the story is almost totally the same, even with the non-breathable atmosphere
