Yeah, that was really fucking weird and I have no idea how he came to get that idea in his head.

I try not to let the opinions of musicians affect whether I like their music or not though, because a lot of them are extremely vocal about some pretty stupid shit. Or else I probably wouldn't like the Foo Fighters, Metallica, or the Smashing Pumpkins.

Heh, you mean to bring up when Thom Yorke flipped out after Ok Computer and went pretty crazy or something else?

I can safely say that I hate U2 though not only because Bono is a douche, but I think their music is extremely overrated.

    I like Muse

I have all their albums and was pretty addicted for a while (I can't listen to music casually, I get addicted to one band for x amount of time and listen to them NON STOP. Muse just happened to last a bit longer than my usual music addictions).

Right now it is Tally Hall and Gogol Bordello.

People always tell me this is the band that tried to copy Radiohead

    They just cop whoever.

Muse is a great cover band.

Heh, if anything I think that Coldplay stabs a lot closer at Radioheads sound, but they both sound different enough from Radiohead that I have a hard time believing anyone could honestly get any of them confused.

    Unlike Hitler Hairdo.

I've often heard that they pretty blatantly rip off Radiohead.

    I dunno about that.

I've only heard a few Muse songs. One of them practically unearths Freddie Mercury and bones his corpse, while another rips off Queens of the Stoneage pretty heavily.

So then would you say The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin, for example, were really good cover bands according to your logic?

the Radiohead comparisons are drawn from earlier Muse to Pablo Honey/Bends-era Radiohead

they strayed a bit from the Radiohead formula with each album and then way more so with Black Holes and Revelations

though this is probably my favorite Muse song, happens to be pretty stylistically similar to Radiohead
