    Nah, it was pretty fun.

    I found the original Fable quite underwhelming really. I guess it just wasn't what I was expecting.

    Also the fact that actual combat was gimped half the time, so I just had to resort to spamming that big AoE circle of fire spell 90% of the time.

    Actually, I like steampunk. Bulky steam powered robots and goggles are where it's at.

    But just because something is steampunk doesn't make it good. It has to be good in and of itself.

    My tastes have to do with more than just recognition, which is why I don't really find Dane Cook of more recent episodes of Family Guy to be funny.



    That said, Damnation's big issue was that they tried to meld two different gameplay styles (gears of war and prince of persia), and ended up with a game that couldn't work.

    Oh, Well, i still respect you.

    I don't really like people who like steam punk. A lot of steam punk things are kinda neat, but man the people who are like "oo! Steam punk! So awesome! ^_^" Are annoying and I hate them.

    I guess I am just reinforcing the stance of "God i hate dumb people"

    that would technically be stone punk

    steam punk implies a level of low tech means capable of producing steam power. not ever single device HAS to use steam power, but the means ought to be chonologically associated.



    now, PLEASE don't ask me to define cyber punk.

    Fable 2 was a forgettable, average game and yet I managed to complete it, play it for more than two weeks AND continue playing it for quite a while afterwards (I shot all the gargoyles).

    So I'm looking forward to Fable 3; I don't expect it to be amazing, but if it's as entertaining as 2 I'll be more than happy. :)

    I got Fable 2 when I bought my xbox for free and I'm enjoying it now that I've gotten around to playing it. It is sinking some time but isn't really blowing me away so I don't know how I would feel if I had bought it

    Playing Fable 2 I felt that I was being entertained throughout but when I finished it I had the deepest sense that those 8 hours were a complete waste of my life. I don't know why, it has this weird feeling that the game is merely a distraction, a sparkly bit of paper on the floor of the multi-storey where I parked my car. It caught my eye and then once it was over it was as though I had shook my head and snapped out of it. What a terrible, terrible game cleverly disguised as something fun.
