How much to charge for used stuff [SOLVED]

A friend of mine wants to buy my Band of Brothers DVD box set, and I want to sell it so I can get the Blu-ray set. We haven't talked about a price yet. The DVD set is $54 new at Future Shop and my set is in pretty much mint condition (there's probably the odd speck on a disc but I'm very meticulous when it comes to discs). But the thing is I'm really stingy with money so I don't know what is reasonable to charge. I would probably over charge.

What would you guys charge? Like I said, the set is in excellent condition. I just don't know how much 'used' should subtract from the price. If there's even just some kind of a general guideline when it comes to selling used stuff, that would be awesome, because I haven't sold much stuff before and I'm going to be moving out at the end of the year so I'll need to get rid of some stuff, probably mostly books, games, movies and action figures.

Half price from what you paid for it. Maybe like $25? You can buy it brand new off of Amazon for $37.

If it were a brand new release and you had just bought it, maybe a little more? But that's pretty old news.

If I'm selling to friends, I usually charge half of what the going rate for new is. So, $25-30 sounds reasonable.

As a sidenote, I've worked at multiple used record and bookstores, selling something back for half of the retail (unless it's rare/out of print/etc.) is pretty standard. Anymore than that and you're ripping people off.

Do not ask me how Gamestop/EB does it's pricing though. They're off in la la land sometimes.

As an ex-gamestop employee I can tell you that the pricing policy was pretty much

take the original new retail value.
    offer the customer 75 cents.
sell it for $5 less than new retail value.
