    It doesn't have to use "real" technology, does it? Cause I'm thinking it's still just a big hand held flashlight with "Sun Gun" sharpie'd on the side, but it actually does emit uv light... somehow. Not something that'd kill a vampire, but it would be annoying to them, and keep them away, at least.

    Something like this:

    HEAD QUARTERS

    In Progress

    • HQ is a ex-Haunted House Theme Ride
    • The amusement park it belonged to has since been replaced by small homes and small merchant shops
    • Due to various "legal " circumstances the group was allowed to purchase the Mansion and keep it in its state
    • The Haunted Ride is largely intact and has been improved upon
    • A secuirity switch can be set off to make sure the whole 'mansion" goes batshit crazay
    • Other amenities include a rec room, individual offices, a reception area (with famous portraits), and a equipment testing facility in the basement. And lets not forget, a male and female restroom on the second and third floor.

    For Mummies - the Bandage Eater. A small vacuum sucks the loose end of the bandage on said mummy and unravels it, spooling it around a large, visible spool until the shambling fuck is nothing but a vulnerable corpse, and which point we could probably just kick him really hard and he'd go to dust or whatever.

    I mean, hopefully, before I make the roll.

    For Werewolves - maybe a Flea-a-pult of some sort? Or how about a Shameful Mirror of Reflection, where he has to look and what a jerk he's being, and hopefully the overwhelming guilt will make him revert back to human and look to the Lord Jesus Christ for redemption.

    ======================

    NPCs... yeah, we need a lawyer, not only because I predict massive legal troubles, but that dynamic there would be awesome. Like the manager guy from Metalocalypse, always frustrated and trying to set things right amid chaos. And serving a ghost an eviction notice sounds like just the peachiest.

    I don't think we'd need too many NPCs. Being somewhat understaffed, overworked, and trying to hold things together sounds like a good source of conflict / humor. Make a repair man who is a former world-famous explorer / elder god fighter, well-versed in ancient horrors, but predictably senile. But also totally badass.

    The Sun Gun sounds good. Summery, roll them dice.

    I think we're about done, gentlemen! As far as I can tell, you need to decide on the city and the name.

    After that, I think you guys are going to give an interview to the Geist Magazine and finally get your first (?) case!

    Bandage Eatin' Machine - http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2259702/

    A 6! I was actually hoping to hit some low rolls. Hopefully that'll go down with my other stats in the game itself.

    Flea-a-pult - http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2259705/

    Hey, a 6. It's like a big mechanized slingshot, two hands to hold. Fires a ball full of fleas that pops open and coats the wolf.

    SHAMEFUL MIRROR OF REFLECTION - http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2259707/

    Gasp! A 4! It does what it's intended to do, but anyone looking into the mirror suffers its ill-effects. You feel bad, guilty, generally existential, and start to cry.

    Using fleas as a weapon seems kinda risky. I mean, we could get 'em on us if we use it too close, or if it's mishandled. And we'd probably have to fumigate any residence that it's been used in. ... Awesome.

    I'm kinda dissapointed in how well we've been rolling so far. When will we get our hilariously terrible items/actions? When?!

    Well, seeing as how you had no idea what to make me roll for, I just went to IC and rolled 1d6 and got a 3

    1d6=3

    Now, the only skill in which I have 1 die is Academics, but seeing as how I got a 3 I'll just let you decide what the hell Vin was doing hitting the books.

    My positive contribution - Whatever I was looking up somehow allowed me to recover Anne Hathaway's Phone Number

    I am all about amputation, ask anyone.

    Since you jerks aren't actually voting for each other's names, I'll just pick one at random. Let's see... North Bloonytonchurchvillesley Springs! That's right, you're all northbloonytonchurchvillesleyspringsians. Eat that.

    Also, I'm picking Styg's name for the Franchise. And his other hand.

    I think we're about done! It would be nice if Zerinan rolled to see how much your animatronic vampire butler hates you, but at this point, I think it's pretty safe to say he hates your guts. And other organs. And fluids, your bodily fluids won't escape his ire either.

    You're going to start this by giving an interview to Geist Magazine. I am writing the beginning of the article right now!*
