Heh, for a second I thought you were giving a review.
Dude. No way this game could ever be given less than a 9 out of 10. (Though number review systems in themselves are stupid.)
It very much could. It's so easy to destroy a JRPG, especially some of the Persona games, that it's not even funny. I still very much enjoy them because hey, the games are simply interesting enough to me to warrant a playthrough.
I never knew that.... I always just overwrote the previous one with the new one.
You can still make use of this marvelously broken tactic, but you'll need to use your accessory slot.
Actually since only two skills stack and innate skills are prioritized over items, you can actually get more of an effect by stacking your Amp with the Amp item equivalent. I tend to prefer doubling up on the skills though, since most of the non-main characters aren't pressed for space in their skill lists and the little power loss is worth the open item slot.
Edit: Guess who finally got around to playing Devil Survivor? This guy.
I played a little when I had just got it, but ended up not playing much of it. Now I'm really getting into it.

I have to say, as long as you're mildly overlevelled and know what you're doing, the answer's not too bad. I am not going to like fusioning off my awesome physical persona with no compendium in a bit, though.
Devil Survivor is starting to become a pain. Largely because every goddamn demon I have available is weak to ice and every goddamn enemy is three Jack Frosts.
So, I’ve just started playing SMT2. I really don’t know what to expect from it, having currently only played about 15 minutes of it, but it seems very fun so far.
I’ve heard it’s supposed to be very hard, and I hope it is.

so of course I said this and now I've died eight times to the second boss in Cania, whee

Just don't fall into the trap of making the heroine a magic user and you'll be fine. Especially if you dick around in the casino and get her a cat-o-nine-tails asap

You'll want a couple, actually. One for the heroine, one for someone else that joins for a short bit.
I don't remember if the heroine comes back with what she had equipped when she left, because it's been too long. To be safe, just don't equip it to her until she joins the second time -- the first time she joins you'll have access to Cerberus so she really won't need to do anything, anyway.

Youll be fine eventually. It really isnt too bad. The Answer I only died in like 3 times I think. And thats only because twice to the last boss and once to some boss I had no clue about. other than that it isnt so bad.

To be honest, most of that was impatient fatigue just causing me to lose the plot. Waiting is an awesome combat option.

through some kind of miracle, the Siegfried in my Answer file is actually a little better than the one I had in the Journey
I got through the Answer for the most part with specialists of each element, plus a four element persona (naturally, this one takes some creativity) and later on some physical.
By the end of it, I used Loki, Odin, and Siegfried exclusively.
Oh and whore out Growth skills and heart items.

Right, I just got lucky way early and ended up with a Titan with Gigantic Fist and Swift Strike. Which is going to be hard to lose.
Fuck you, Beldr. What, is the escort mission not enough of a pain? Have to show up and summon some jerks between Midori and the exit? Just couldn't let me have this, huh?

If the president had any real power, he'd be able to live wherever the fuck he wanted.
But -Amp and -Boost skills do.

Safe to say this won't be an overnight localization.
Not to be a hater, but I really wish this had been a PSP game.
daaaaamn you
I got addicted
Yeah, the huge gap between successive Wilder and Avian demons is quite annoying. Just gotta deal with it...
If it were a PSP game I'd be thinking more about how badly it would sell.
When this actually makes it over here, day one purchase.
That logo for Strange journey still looks like a 5 second photoshop
I own a DS.
Second Screen = Automap.

It will look as good as SMT3 since it will be 3D if it's going to be on PSP.
You can keep your nancy boy Persona games on the PSP, a system designed for such. :P
But I think he meant that fansite with the beautiful fan art from Nocturne & Raidou. I can't recall its address at the moment, but Zephyr knows it.
I'm getting a real Dead Space vibe from them.
That's the one.
Thanks.

And Atlus calls it the spiritual successor to SMT proper.
I'm up to day 4
when does Midori stop being retarded
As in overly peppy or putting herself in harms way needlessly?
