    So, being auto-leveled to 40, I took the opportunity to explore the Nemesis Creator, take screenshots, and record the process and what the options are.

    Are people interested in me doing a write up of this?

    From what I've seen, the primary issue to keep in mind with the Nemesis system is that your Nemesis's lines are very.. um.. distinctive. So people should have some idea of the limits of concept they can pull off unless they want to have something really strange happening on their screen.

    Yeah, it was to see whether it was just 2 mails labeled the same or two keys for different things. I am thinking of giving an account to one of my friends then since I don't think any of them had planned to buy it.

    So how do the power armor toggle powers work? I tested one of them out, and it didn't "toggle" at all.

    Ok, tried some others, and they actually did toggle. Not sure what the deal with the shoulder launcher is, but it would only ever fire 1 shot no matter what I did.

    Weird, I could get a full salvo with my Endurance builder, Rocket pods and Shoulder cannon if they had targeting computer

    Maybe I just didn't have it set up right. It doesn't really feel like my sort of powerset anyway.

    Shoulder Rocket only fires one shot. It's not a toggle, really, it's more like a hands-free charge power, like Orbital Cannon. Once the timer is up, you shoot a rocket.

    It's actually quite effective, especially in PvE. Works like the Sniper attack, only you don't get interrupted and you can move around while it's charging. Oh, it does more damage, too.

    Ah yeah, I was talking about the chest rocket pods, my bad

    At some point we need to make a joint effort of having three people catalog the three nemesies' scripts so that we can determine what is and is not appropriate for them.

    Angel seeking rapture? Not an appropriate mastermind.

    Alas, Champions is very devoted to pre-80s comic styles...

    If the first Nemesis mission is any indication, all of the Nemesis dialogues are cheesy, overblown, and very Silver Age "mwahahahahaha" type villains.

    I was pretty disappointed, personally.

    Also, to be perfectly honest, the fact that your Nemesis only has four kinds of minions makes the fact that you can't make custom minions for him completely inexcusable.

    This is actually my biggest setting gripe with both CoX and CO.

    A little comic relief is fine, and I don't want endless grit and doom, but I like for their to be more sinister threats than Evil Toad Aliens.

    Patch notes:

    * While the Open Beta officially ends today, we’re going to leave the server up tomorrow so that we can finalize our configurations for Early Start and launch. We invite you to login and continue to play, however you will receive short notice before we take down the server for good and wipe the characters in preparation for the game’s release.
    * We have changed the XP curve, and resource drop rate to a more favorable rate! Please let us know what you think in the forums.
    * Need support? File a bug in-game for any technical issues, or go to http://www.champions-online.com/support.

    Patch Note Topics

    * General
    * UI/Chat
    * Powers
    * Missions/Environments
    * Unity
    * Crafting
    * Character Creator
    * Hero Games

    General

    * Changed the XP curve and resources drop rate to a more favorable rate.
    * Advantages now display their descriptions in the advantage purchasing window.
    * KNOWN ISSUE: Some powers display their description text more than once.

    User Interface and Chat

    * Fixed a bug where using the "Interact at Cursor" or "Execute" keybinds would not always interact with the thing you clicked on. The "Execute" keybind can now be used to interact with objects as well as contacts. If you are holding an object, clicking on an enemy with the "Execute" keybind will now cause you to throw your held object at that enemy.
    * Fixed a bug where multiple "A" icons could appear on a Contact dialog while using a gamepad.
    * Fixed a bug where selecting "Interact" from the entity context menu would not always interact with the thing you clicked on.
    * The Keybinds UI appearance has been improved.
    * Changed the /twitter command to display the social media window instead.

    Powers

    * Martial Arts Claws Rend and Tear now improves when you rank it up.
    * Martial Arts Claws Rend and Tear Drake's Deliverance advantage now works.
    * Martial Arts Claws Viper's Fangs rank two and three now generate a more appropriate amount of energy while you have Momentum.
    * Updated some power replace items, primarily single blades, which were previously overpowered.
    * Martial Arts focus damage buffs will now properly refresh their duration each time they occur.
    * Fixed Ice Barrier's Frigid Freedom advantage so it will now work properly.
    * Added an icon to Cold Snap buff.
    * Telepathy: Mind Lock has been changed to a 15 second cooldown.
    * Reworked all of the Sorcey: Sigil advantages to function better. Works similar to the old way, except each sigil has it's own 1 point advantage, instead of 1 shared advantage.
    * Added ranks 2 and 3 of all Sigils.

    Missions/Environments
    Millennium City Tutorial

    * Fixed Chief Surhoff's dialogue in the tutorial's text to properly reference "Z" for interactions.

    Desert Crisis

    * Players may now return to Desert Crisis through the vault door after defeating Gigaton if they do not wish to move on to the Desert.

    Canadian Wilderness

    * Fixed a crash in Project Awakening.

    Desert

    * Judge Hensley has been fixed in Burnside to correctly obtain and switch attack targets.
    * Improved the spawn time for mission "Barbarians at the Gates".

    Millennium City

    * Open Mission - "A Bullet Bound For Biselle" - fixed the patrolling issue that would not allow for the mayor to respawn after the first time the mission was completed or failed.
    * Open Mission - "Jail Break" - fixed an issue with ringleaders getting killed by police and the open mission never being able to progress. Ringleaders can now be killed by NPCs and it will grant mission credit to keep the mission progressing. Also enlarged the size of the final waypoint for the mission.
    * The bear in Millennium City will no longer answer calls for help from other near by villains.

    Nemesis

    * Fires will now be properly extinguished in the "Jail Break" map. Players will no longer be hit by phantom fire damage, and enemies will now properly path through these areas once the fires are extinguished.

    Unity

    * UNITY Vendor now charges 1000 for Primary Upgrades and 250 for Secondary Upgrades instead of the reverse.

    Crafting

    * Experiment stars start from top and now have tooltip.
    * Blueprints now display what they create in the tooltip.
    * Increased rates of gaining Insight/Epiphany/Profundity from Tier 1 and Tier 2 Experimentations

    Patch notes look good.

    I enjoy the cheesy stuff as well, I have never been one to complain about the over the top evil choices you often get in games as I think it's hilarious, but it would be nice if they added some more script sets for nemesis characters so people who don't want them to be that over the top can tone it down.

    The minions of the nemeses seem to be way harder than the nemeses themselves.

    But I suppose that depends on what framework you give your nemesis.

    Also, if you are taking an auto-leveled to 40 character into nemesis content you're going to get buttfucked anyway, because you don't have proper gear for your level.
