    Posting a tiny WIP shot just to prove I'm not a liar.

    Hands suck horribly, face kinda sucks, don't like the boots....a lot wrong with it, really. Lots of ham-handed treatment of things going on.

    Going to take a break on it until Sat/Sunday, try to do some lip/hand studies before coming back to this so I can get it right.

    (also where the heck are all the people that were jazzed about this contest before)

    Edit: why did I draw something with so much damn stuff in it

    Edit 2: also is it weird that by pure coincidence 2 of the last 3 contest entries I did involved women wearing eye patches

    that palm tree is a baby palm tree but thats really great its really nice to see how watts is affecting your form and tone

    edit: except the left ledge, the lighting is a little off, you wouldn't have that shadow perfectly even out based on where its coming fromm

    Bacon, here are some thoughts from a total non-drawer/painter. Her trigger-finger is a little long (in my eyes) and the foreground and background are of pretty even saturation so it feels a tiny bit crowded to me. What about a little atmospheric haze making the ship slightly less saturated?

    The pose is horrible. Your pinup girl should be riding that treasure chest like it's got a penis, not like she's looking for the seat belt.
