I finally gave Gangplank a try last night. God he's easy to use. Went 16 and 0 with him. The other team must have been so frustrated by the end. The skill where he eats an apple to heal is awesome.

the amount of vitamin C found in apples is considerably less than citrus fruits.
are there games anymore without 2 ashe's in them? I'm not sure I can remember the last one.
also, after a couple days off, I played a terrible Malph. cow carried me though.
Ruby Crystal -> Heart of Gold -> Tabi Boots -> Catalyst
From here you can either go Tank build, which you can consider
Aegis/Banshee's/Warden/Sunfire
Or DPS
Phantom Dancer/Infinity Edge
You'd want to rely on your passive to do most of the healing early game, i.e. don't be aggressive unless your armor is up. Max Ground slam first and when you get your ult, just make sure you hit at least 3 people then press all your skill buttons, you can't really go wrong.
On another note, they seem to have plans to remake a couple of characters
Soraka -> Getting instant heal
Trynd -> remake
Ryze -> remake
Sivir -> Slight remake
As the level of people I've been playing against has increased, I've been thinking more and more about tryn and actually surviving against a coordinated team.
this is what I'm considering right now. Switch out last whisper with wit's end if the enemy team is magic damage heavy.
Order of acquisition is roughly left to right, depending on the situation.
I've also been messing around with Nasus. I've read all of the guides, but coming off Tryn he just feels so...impotent. Against dedicated tanks he usually does poorly.
I dunno, the warmogs and starks both seem kinda counter productive for tryn, you generally don't want to be regenerating/stealing too much health since the more health you have the less damage you do. Really against a well coordinated team tryn is fragile enough that unless you stack nothing but health/armor you're going down the second they target you and you don't have undying rage up anyway, so it makes more sense to stack nothing but damage/crit/attack speed items to do the most damage you can in your immortal 6 seconds. The only armor i'd consider for him is guardian angel
Thats my take on tryn anyway
ah yes. what about...hm...take out fervor, replace with atmas? that syncs up with the health increase. i can deal more damage, and have a bit more survivability should shit hit fan.
The whole point of Tryndamere is that he can go full glass cannon while still surviving a fight no matter how many people beat on him. The enemy won't want to focus him first in a team fight once they realize it won't result in a kill until it's too late, so tank items are a waste of his talents. He should go raw damage IMO.
Zek has it right. Stack the crap out of crit and damage items, get low health, and then just go berserk on people. I've seen Tryndameres obliterate everybody and anybody (especially 1v1.) while this occurs. Just remember that you are technically not immortal (Just unkillable - And can thus be kited.)
I'm sorry I'm not trying to be obstinate, but how does this work against a competent team with stuns and slows? All that attack power wont get you anywhere if you can't even attack.
Installed it. They give you 10k IP/RP and everything costs 100 points so no cost info.
Only thing of value to be learned from it (which may have been known but I didn't know) is that runes have a level requirement. T1 = all, T2 = 10+, T3 = 20+.
Also they have skins for Nunu, Ashe, Evelynn, Cho'Gath, Taric, Blitzcrank, Twitch, and Katarina.
Oh, and it's buggy and has no chance of coming out tomorrow.
1) So what you're saying is I'll need to be level 20+ to even buy T3 runes? Looks like I'm going to have to farm two more levels prior to the store opening.
2) Telling us there is new skins is useless without pics.
Why are so many convinced the store is opening tomorrow, am I missing something?
because when you enter an invalid code into the store it says
"If you ordered the Collector's Pack, you will get your exclusive skins and boosts now, and the remainder of your content will automatically appear in your account on November 17th, when the store is available."
I'm sure it won't be up tomorrow, but with the store itself saying that its easy to see why people could think it

Side note, I notice last night that the LoL trailer has a champion I don't recognize. The public computer I'm on now doesn't have flash so I can't verify if it's the video I saw last night, but in the opening scroll of a bunch of champions there is a brawler that kind of looks like Fei Long. Has this been discussed before? Was he ever a playable character?
Also, I'd still like to see some pics of the new skins... I'm not sure if I mentioned that.
It did sound like the testing they're doing for the store is mostly a stress test (they did say they wanted to test a lot of people using it at once after all), so there's still hope it could open tomorrow.

glad that they're making it so when you unlock a champ, it's permanent. for some reason it had gotten into my head they would only be unlocked for 1 season, happy to see i was wrong there.

I mentioned something about being kited, I believe.
I just played a 1v1 in Twisted Treeline, with me using Mundo and my opponent using Teemo.
He killed me once in the beginning, but once we started gaining levels and gear, it became impossible for either of us to kill the other (though much of that was due to me running away instead of him running away). He was able to slightly outfarm me thanks to those goddamned mushrooms. I spent most of the game building up a Warmogs and then a Force of Nature. Then I purchased a Frozen Mallet and Zeal, killed him, and won the game five minutes later, with him now being pretty much unable to stop me.
He was geared pretty heavily towards damage, if I remember correctly he had an Infinity Edge, a Madred's Bloodrazor, and Boots of Swiftness. Once I had outhealthed and outregened his ability to do damage, and had taken away his ability to flee, he was helpless.
Ashe suffers this same kind of symdrome. She's near useless at levels 1-11, and hits a nice peak at 12 with her level 2 ult. I have an Infinitys edge and the workings of a last whisper by then, and people just wither very quickly under her fire.

with my cool down ashe, we'll call her "Cash Cool Ashe, Diggy Dig, Son", i would state her prime effectiveness is between 6 and 15ish. at 6 you're firing ults as fast as you get them, hopefully stealing a kill or getting an assist in another lane; or, running over the person you're laning against. then, once you get that Glacial Shroud it's all Cash Cool Ashe, Diggy Dig, Son. and, you're like "PACK-OW", money in the bank and suckers hittin' the deck. you're ballin' like it's 1997 because volley no longer has a cool down and you just THWIP THWIP, baby. crack an ult on some near by busta and chase dat booty down, CHA-CHING.
but, at like super late game, you're not doing the raw DPS an ashe with that pussy infinity edge would do.

Doesn't Nashor's tooth have the benefits of a that shroud, and has +attack and +speed?
A chalice should solve any mana issues you have. I don't even use +hp regen items, and if you get a banshees veil (I always get one after my last whisper.) you'll be made.
man i hate leavers
we had this twitch that gave first blood and died again, ragequits
ensue our team having better carries, the rest of us killing their team like crazy
pushing towers and shit
but we lost because every time we pushed out, their yi would bd our inhibs and we couldnt kill him off fast enough to ensure a push while he was dead
Big LoL Fan feel free to drop me a line if you guys ever want to play
Character name is Seran
Just to add a bit into the latest convo....Ashe is all about speed and crits and farming a ton of cash. Build i go with her is bezerk greavers, tiamat, zeal, infinity edge.

Peeps usually be hanging out in the PA vent, hit it up for some games.
$50 for access to the game's content off the bat is ridiculous. It's just not finished enough to be worth that yet. If you pay that much you should have permanent free champion unlocks at least. Also, why the hell does the 20 hero pack cost the same as the entire retail package? You should be able to get an all-access pass that gets you every hero and every skin for like $60 tops.
HoN is going to be $30 right? That game has way more heroes and is much more profesionally put together too. I don't like the game itself but Riot is nuts to charge so much for LoL, either they're getting greedy or they're in financial straits and really need the money to keep going.
I don't think they're in a financial bind. I think I saw recently they got $8 million in investment. I do, however, think they're a bumbling group of amateurs flailing about wildly. They made a decent game but I don't think they have half a clue how to properly run anything outside of that core game.
It was a special pre-order that had the 20 heroes unlocked and pendragon posted stated that the focus of selling the game in stores was to reach a certain demographic that would overlook free to play downloaded games.
As for the quality. Yes they jumped the gun esp on not having the store up and running but I'm holding my judgment until the pre-season is over and they've been given the chance to fix the errors. I hope others do the same.

however, the amount in apples is not negligible, as you can see here:

double-however, the amount found in apples can vary greatly depending on variety:

make sure to eat the peel if ingesting vitamin C is your objective.

meki
mercury

i mean, there are quite a few of us that have 10K+ IP
and, 10,000 is a very large number.
I'm up to 14k IP at the moment, my priority will probably be two sets of T3 runes.
