I've not been impressed with the release, lots of screw ups...
But really its not like you need all 40 champions day 1, its not like you can't unlock the ones you need for free. Paying $50 is not at all necessary to enjoy this game. Although you made need to overlook some bugs :P
I don't think they're in a financial bind. I think I saw recently they got $8 million in investment. I do, however, think they're a bumbling group of amateurs flailing about wildly. They made a decent game but I don't think they have half a clue how to properly run anything outside of that core game.
This is the truth - Do any of them have any real experience in the industry? I know they all have lots of experience in Dota, just not the business end.

so i just had the pleasure of learning why their cover system is imbalanced.
Decided to log in and play annie, after a long absence. I end up getting a solo lane against teemo and Yi. Doesn't matter though, every time I tried to step in to my lane teemo came out of the bushes and sent me recalling to heal. If i tried to chase, he just poisoned me, stepped in to the bushes so i couldn't cast any spells on him, then stepped out and chased me back to my base. He, while laned with a yi, kept me at level 2 while they both hit level 6.

Really you should almost never be screwed in a laning matchup. If you're badly matched then you need to realize that and stop trying to push against them, just camp the tower and farm exp for a while.
I tell you this, we worked hard for that loss. We (read Bigwah KS'd ) pwnd them in team battles, but they somehow could push down our towers with yi/TF while we could get a push going.
also, fucking direct damage should break TF's gate. so fucking weak :x
honestly i think what really won it for them is black shield. i think i'm going to start playing morgana.
I tell you this, we worked hard for that loss. We (read Bigwah KS'd ) pwnd them in team battles, but they somehow could push down our towers with yi/TF while we could get a push going.

I'm glad they decided to push it back in an attempt to make it better.
in other news, i've decided that i need to learn how to play cardmaster. I've seen a number of people carry a team with him, and i want to figure out wtf they do.
though, i think its all about gold cards, as i've seen TF rape with only sorc boots + lichbane.
I tried a couple games with TF after seeing people dominate with him. I really have a hard time with the pick a card thingy though. I guess I'm too old play certain champions.

Starting to really play well with Singed though
Pick a card follows a pattern (Blue Red Gold). And there seem to be two cycles from my experience playing him, one is slower than the other. Anyways, it's like playing a rhythm game, just need to get the timing down and then it's easy.
Had probably one of the worst games I've ever played.
Both teams went towards dragon, we lost 2, they lost 1. Proceed for my team to argue on who's fault it was.
Start laning, I'm solo Nasus vs. solo Eve. I'm never really harrassed, able to farm and what-not.
Meanwhile, our Warwick is getting constantly ganked while trying to jungle and instead of playing smart, decides to continue to jungle. They begin to group gank Warwick and Fiddle, and pretty much my entire team abandons their lanes to run around trying to find the other team, which continue to dominate them in group battles.
I end up downing both top and bottom towers, but it's not enough, as the other team has been fed so well, and my team decides to spend the rest of the match arguing.

Reminds me of the times when someone on the other team is trying to hide in the brush but completely ignores the skillshots I throw at them. I think that I once managed to cleaver someone five times before they moved.

I love the meaty squelch sound of mundo's cleaver when he hits an unseen enemy in the bush. So satisfying. Should be followed by "OW!".
Goodness Gracious... just in time for me to get back from my business trip.
Current plan
1) Assess if IP or XP boost has a good enough ROI (return on investment) to merit buying instantly.
2) Grind until level 20. Thats what I have to be to buy T3 runes, right (question mark)... (silly french changing questions marks to É)
3) Start building T3 [email protected] (with exp quints)
4) Unlock Teemo (possibly with cash money)
5) Unlock Singed
6) build T3 attack speed (flat per level) to make me a super warwick jungler
7) unlock warwick
8) (question mark, question mark, question mark)
9) profit

Finally had a good pub stomp. Played an Alistar damage build. Me and Jax each brought down 5 structures. Their Yi had the only turret kill against us. I went like 2 or 3 kills until I died (stomp, punt Yi into turret >:D).
Wicked fun.

Another quality pub stomp. This time I had Mortenya with me though. My Alistar, his Jax. Ashe is a pain in my tail laning against though. But I had some pretty serious domination by end game (only went 2-1 with 7 assists). Last push we dropped last top turret, inhib, then both turrets and nexus before even getting the last turret/inhib on bottom side. DESTROYED THEM.

Yes, you have to stun him or something to actually break the channel.
