So sometime very recently, my HD CRT developed a semicircular color distortion on its left side. I've not moved it at all in months. Is it my degausser? I don't know how often I hear that sudden hum when I turn the tv on that would signal that it had gone off, or how often would be normal.
I only use speakers in the tv itself, so I can't think of any nearby magnetic distortion.
