All current members can invite people, it's private right now but like I said, anyone that is a member can invite. I friended those who put up links to their profile so I could invite you.
Please message me once you fully friend me so I can invite you to the group.
The server is running normal mode right now, but I'll switch it over to cRPG once enough people have the mod.

For all of you complaining that archery is hard, especially on horseback, keep at it. There are few achievements in gaming that are as satisfying as putting an arrow right in another dude's face whilst both of you are at full gallop.
I was dreading coming home to find out that Steam hadn't yet fixed M&B, and when I checked and saw that my CD-Key was still wrong, my heart sank.
Thankfully, the actual fix was just an update from Steam and so I'm good to go whoo! Can't wait to get in and start rampaging across the countryside once more.
Just starting out in Warband (got it on the sale, of course.) Is there any way to get cattle for this village that wants them other than buy them for what feels like tons of gold or rustle them from another village? The village elder said something about bandits stealing them, but I haven't found any bandits with cows for me to repatriate...
I have never found any bandits who had cows with them, so I think the two options you discovered are the only ones. That being the case, I declared the country bordering the Khergits (can't remember who they are at the moment) to be my enemies, and so I went into their lands and started strong-arming villages to get some cows. I also began way-laying merchants and forcing them to pay me a toll, and even razed one village to the ground.
Before that, I found myself helping out a petty lordling who was all pissy because the people in a village he controlled had escaped and were heading to another town. He paid me to go round them up so I had to herd the lot've them back to their home village... I felt kindof sinister but it was good fun.
I really love this game; it gives me a sense of being utterly lost, not knowing what I should be doing. At the same time, I feel like I have the freedom to figure it out and just do whatever comes to mind.
It has been suggested that we Penny Arcadians, the Magic Sword Kings, unify under one banner.
I like this idea, and am very impartial about which one we use. I have been using the black bear on yellow, simply because I like the whole Norse thing. But, I am open to suggestion. I would prefer it was a default banner, so people can set it up right every time, easily.
Also, some folks are on the server. I'm playing on a cRPG server (I can't get enough of the cRPG gains!), but if some one messages me I'll hop on there. If people want to try out cRPG, I can flip the server over to that, and we can all start as commoners together.
Can I get a what what! And by that I mean invite please? Just installed the game, have yet to even run the bloody thing I'v been so busy bu I'm sure it'll be fine.
Is it just me or couched lance thingy is harder in Warband?
I remember, a really long time ago, I took the M&B demo for a spin, found out how to do couched lance attacks, and proceeded to tear everyone a new one.
Right now I'm mostly a horseback archer (single player) but picked up a lance and shield as secondaries. Main problem is not damage, it's hitting things.

I got warband on steam sale also. Love this game! I am already in the Steam group but what is the easiest way to get on the server? I am Dazangeddoe on Steam and bathtubb in game.
Is there a single player component to Warband? I thought it was just like a deathmatch mode.
Very indepth single player actually. Also, more then deathmatch, there's CTF, battle (one death per player DM), normal respawn DM, and siege (where one team tries to capture the castle from the other team).
So I tried out Vanilla Warband, but I'm not too into it. I think I'll play Eagle and the Radiant Cross until PoP gets ported to Warband. Also, I just want to be a bandito and shoot many mans(and horses).
I think Anon should make a new thread with the server info in it and such, as this thread is quite old.
You act like I am not right here constantly reading this thread, I already added the steam group to the list, shoot me the server IP and I will add it.

Unicorns kick ass anyway, and it would be funny to see a bunch of unicorn wearing dudes charging at you.
Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst
It's a horse with a sword on its head
EDIT: Found the server name in the Steam group.

Well I tried adding the 25 character key with the 'activate a product on steam' thing and it said it was an already used warband key, so nope
