Have you guys tried the Guinness 250th anniversary edition? It's smoother and stronger and darker than the original, it's fucking awesome.

Sweet Bourbon Manhattans, man, that is what life is about.

    Also strawberry daiquiries.

Like frozen daiquiries or ones made from scratch?

I never make them, I will just order them if it's a nice day and we're out on a patio.

Then I pretend they are for my wife.

We have no liquor in the apartment at the moment but I've been drinking Negra Modelo

Once I deposit this last paycheck I think I'm going to go get some whiskey and maybe some gin

I have more than I thought in my liquor cabinet

some cheap bourbon, Tequila, Grey Goose, Jamaican rum, amber rum, white rum, sweet and dry vermouth, 3 different scotches, and every canadian, every manitoban certainly should have a bottle of Crown Royal.

    shit

I was born in saint-boniface and I've never tasted Crown Royal.

jesus christ. Tell me you moved away by 14.

I lived in Manitoba just long enough to get some good weather instincts and then got moved to BC when I was 2. Now that I'm in Southern Ontario, I basically have t-shirt and sundress weather and fur coat weather.

My mother went to Finlands Booze Capital (Tallinn, Estonia) and brought me a bottle Scottish Leader (Although I said I won't drink it until I'm 18, alcohol isn't really my thing)

Anyone familiar with the brand? Good? Bad?

If I'm going to drink whiskey, I go with Maker's Mark, neat. I don't really care for any other hard liquor.

My beer of choice is usually Sierra Nevada pale ale or Summerfest. Both are delicious.

I also found that Maker's Mark with ginger beer and squeeze of lemon on the rocks is pretty awesome. I don't know if that drink has a name.
