Someone over at GameFAQs supposedly got their hands on tomorrow's issues of GL and BN.
If the BN spoilers are correct, expect another 'Oh shit' twist at the end, one that will get a lot of arguments started over the legitimacy of at least one of the 'parts' of said twist.

You can't post something like that and not give us more information my man. It's the equivalent of dangling a steak in front of a hungry dog.

Nekron isn't just responsible for resurrecting the Black Lanterns. He also claims responsibility for resurrecting everyone who's ever come back to life, such as Kon-El, Wonder Woman, and Green Arrow. At the end of the isue, all of them become Black Lanterns as well.

I am in love with this twist. However, I demand scans.

You know, I kind of thought that the plot would twist that way...It creates a quick & dirty way for DC to reset any number of "deaths".
Yeah, so long as you don't get sucked into a fanboyish question of whether or not this or that plot contrivance constitutes a resurrection from the dead, it's pretty sweet.
No scans up yet, but I'm sure scans_daily will have them within a few hours.
Edit: Here's one scan not related to the gamefaqs spoiler that is still a spoiler.
Kyle is dead. Hal is most likely part of the Undead JLA. Guy is most likely turning red next GLC. That leaves John Stewart as the only earth lantern left. John Stewart to save the day?

I'm saddened that they did so little with Batmans BL design, it could've been awesome but its just regular costume with a BL symbol in the centre. Gay.
And BL Green Arrow? Could he get lamer? Apparently so.

Yeah, the guy in that pic pops up, vomits out a few rings, then goes away.
Kinda lame.
My opinion based on the end of BN #5:
He served to create the emotional tether Nekron needs to recapture the heroes from life. But he even refers to Bruce with air quotes, so he knows it's not really Bruce. But the JLA, et al. didn't and had no reason to given everything else so far--that is, why NOT resurrect Bruce as a BL if you're the Big Bad?
I dont even think this is what Id call a retcon. The retcons technically already happened with everyone brought back int heir own stories. It's just playing with established deaths/rebirths in Blackest Night.

The best part of BN#5
having Bruce scream like a little B. "Aieeeeee!"
I think Eddy Barrows is ghost pencilling some of these pages at this point, as he draws Superman different from Reis.
I liked GL #48 better, and the way this will be collected will have to include GL at this point, as you need to read GL #48 before BN#5 to understand it (and maybe BN Titans too).
Changing the reason that everyone that was ever resurrected? Like instead of whatever happened in the original stories, it was a trick by Nekron, and he was the one that actually did it. Unless I'm reading it wrong and that's not actually what happens.

Nekron sort of controls the gap between life and undeath. Souls go through his place first before whatever afterlife they end up in. His 'letting' them back into the land of the living or keeping them around until they die has no bearing on the actual resurrections of the characters.
I'm pleasantly surprised with this twist. Mostly because it seems to debunk this whole "White Lantern" theory since combining all the light did absolute shit. Johns has managed to throw me for enough of a loop that I'm not entirely sure what to expect next, which I like. Interested to hear this "Guardians Greatest Secret" too.
Also, Hal better man up after all this about not following the Guardians.

It just sets up the point that the Guardians will not be in charge of the GL's anymore but maybe a Knights of the Round type thing with Hal, Guy, nuKyle, Salaak, Kilowog, etc. And Bzzt would be King Arthur.

They did that before and fucked up just as badly as the Guardians. Not opposed to the idea, but I think someone with half a brain needs to be in charge.

it also doesn't make a great deal of sense when you think about how, for example, green arrow came back to life. it was a whole ordeal where he had to go back to heaven and talk his soul into coming back and blah blah blah, plus it was the spectre who brought him back to life.
anyway, i agree it seems like kind of a dumb retcon.
also, i haven't read it, but does jason todd become a black lantern, or does not even nekron want him?
also can i just say how little i like the convention of replacing a "c" with a "k" to make something seem more exotic or interesting. magik. nekron. kombustible. mortal kombat. bleh

what...what do you replace a k with to make it sound kooler?
And with the Jason thing:
It only seems to have messed with the people who were around when Bruce was resurrected. That way it was an emotional opening to shoot a black ring onto them. Since Jason wasn't there he can't be affected

Perhaps something is gonna happen with Jason Todd in the Batman & Robin BN crossover.

Me? I was responding to deadonthestreet calling it the biggest retcon ever.
