Uploading password protected files for download by others

Hi all.

I was wondering if there was a site online that catered to letting me upload files online so that my students can download them; I'd like them to be password protected, however. Basically .pdf files and similar types.

    Dropbox?

You can just create a folder and share it with your students by using their e-mail addresses.

It's really to use, I have dropbox on both my computers, a notebook running Vista and a netbook running Jolicloud.

Google docs is pretty good. You can also go to google and search for free file hosting and take your pick. I've used mediafire and been very happy with it.

drop.io might be an interesting way to set it up.
